Nice computer. Get what you pay for.

My new Surface stopped being reliable this month, after purchasing it in January. Not everything opens with either the touch screen or the mouse. Cleary Ill have to call on the warranty people. Disappointing...

Beware of the Magnetic connection power cord connection. It failed within a couple of months. Customer service was very slow to resolve my problem, I had to purchase a cord to use for the 3 months of waiting for their replacement. Incidentally the purchased power cord magnetic connections also failed. Now, several months later, my computer just went out of the one year warranty by 11days and it is on the way to my company IT people because it appears the touchscreen has failed. My first and last Microsoft laptop purchase.

This new Surface Laptop 3 is really nice. Very light weight and comes with a solid state drive for even more quick access to files.

Received brand new out of the box prestine condition. After a short time, a small Crack appeared on the screen. Contacted support. A replacement was delivered. Super happy with and impressed by the warranty process. Still happy with my purchase 2 years later.

6+ month on Surface Laptop after being a MacBook Air user since 2011. It works great, looks prettier than Apple products. I havent had any issues (knock on wood!) with screen or battery as some other users experienced, so cant comment on that.

Love this product. I got it in Matte Black, and I was expecting much worse for the finger print issue. This is very light and doesn’t bother me.

Extremely light and fast processor.

I bought my laptop from amazon and I started having issues with my laptop almost within the month my screen started going black, fuzzy, and over heating. Amazon wouldnt replace the product. I bought the Asurion insurance and instead of giving me a gift card for my purchase, they replaced the motherboard. They did this even after telling me they would give me a gift card to replace my item. Keep in mind I bought my laptop in June and didnt open it until august when I started school. The problem only got worse and I kept having trouble and everyone had me between Amazon, Microsoft, and Asurion. At the end, I still have my so called new laptop with a replaced motherboard. Microsoft will only give you a refurbished if theres a hardware issue. Youre better off buying the product from BestBuy and price matching. At least at BestBuy you can get direct help in person at your local store instead of having to mail in your computer and just wait. I have spent over 20 hours dealing with customer service for this brand new computer that has already been repaired.

So far this Microsoft Surface laptop 3 has been a workhorse of a machine. The build quality is nice and it is a minimalist, yet elegant design. Battery life has been pretty good but I’m not quite sure I’m getting the 11.5 hrs or so. It might be closer to 6-7 with light productivity use for school/work. Overall, I’m satisfied and the seller appears very reputable by selling actual new products (emonkey).
