No opinion on this filter. I’m giving Miele a 1 star review for awful product naming. I wanted the HEPA filter, which this is not. The HEPA filter is “Air Clean 30 SF-HA 30.” This (pointless IMO) filter is “Air Clean 30 SF-AA 30.” Moronic job, Miele. Now I’ve wasted a week waiting for the wrong filter.

I have two little Rescue dogs, 3 # Yorkie and 9# Poodle mix, darling lil pals. NEITHER sheds. They still pee on carpet sometimes and I think that is what makes bag smell after a few months. I vacuum a small living room and bedroom about once every 10 days, (remember doggies dont shed). Just changed it after 7 months. Stink was terrible. Not sure the charcoal can do much . Changed the bag also. The bag is what smelled the worst!! Love my Meile though!!

I have used these filters before. We have 3 cats and vacuum frequently. Even so, we only need to change these every 6 months.

I have pets, and other vacuums always ended up exhausting smelly air eventually; this air filter has prevented that, and is well worth the price for that reason.

Bought the Dog and Cat upright because it was the quietest vac on the market. These filters are critical for its functioning and they drop in and work well. Love the indicator strip on them (even if I may run it a bit longer than they expect)

Very expensive, have to be replaced constantly as the dog smell just eats through these things. Plus they come through customs and are pre-opened / taped back together. Not worth it for how expensive they are in my experience.
