Miele Active AirClean Filter with TimeStrip Filter for Miele Vacuum Cleaners

This is an OEM product but it is NOT a HEPA filter!! It also took a long time to arrive from England. What’s really made me angry is that I could’ve bought the true HEPA for like $3 more. A lesson to those of us looking for a “bargain “. LOL. On a side note MIELE needs to improve that little indicator strip as it really sucks!! A small L E D light would help maybe going from green to red ( new to used respectively)

I have pets, and other vacuums always ended up exhausting smelly air eventually; this air filter has prevented that, and is well worth the price for that reason.

This is not a hepa filter but it filters for smell. I don’t notice a big difference, but it may help a little. I am a dog owner and once dog hair is vacuumed, the vacuum cleaner smells when you run it. I had a hepa filter before and it didn’t help the smell, either.

Have 2 dogs. My second hepa filter did not keep the dog smell from coming out of vacuum air so I went with the charcoal filter when I couldnt stand the smell anymore. Same result as hepa, still smell dog in air while vacuuming. Disappointed as I hate vacuuming with dog smell blowing out of vacuum. Not sure if these filters from AMAZON are true Miele filters because when I bought the Miele 600 series vacuum with factory hepa, I got 10 months out of the filter before I noticed a smell. I have not had a clean sweep since buying the last 2 filters from AMAZON. After this charcoal life is done, I will buy directly from where I purchased my sweeper and see if there is a difference in product, or maybe just my vacuum stinks.

Very expensive, have to be replaced constantly as the dog smell just eats through these things. Plus they come through customs and are pre-opened / taped back together. Not worth it for how expensive they are in my experience.
