> 24 hourI had my own housekeeping business for 10 years and used many different types of vacuums my clients owned (Oreck, Dyson etc). My absolute favorite hands down was the Miele. I always swore Id get one myself one day. Well, 12 years later I finally broke down and got one. :) Ive never spent this much on a vacuum but I knew it would be worth it!!! Ive been using it for 2 weeks now and let me say....I WISH I had bought one way sooner! I feel my carpets and furniture are actually getting clean now! Buying this I knew it would work for my needs. Our small home is mainly tile with low-pile carpet in 2 bedrooms plus 2 larger rugs. I have no issues with anything except I really wish the cord was a little longer. **Id gone back and forth between the Miele Pure Suction (cheaper) and this one. Im super happy I paid the extra for this as it comes with the 2 brush heads instead of 1.

> 24 hourWorth every penny. I can’t believe I waited so long to buy a good vacuum. I will never buy a cheap vacuum again. Didn’t know what I was missing!

> 24 hourI have had a Miele vacuum before, a used one that I had for about 2 years. When my current vacuum conked out I decided to go with another Miele and love it. My daughter let me use hers when she moved back to NYC. It was about 2 years old when she lent it to me and when she moved back to Seattle, she used it for another 2 years. It is really great on carpets and my my wood floors too.

> 24 hourWife was having a hard time using her old Dyson. It was exhausting to use and constantly needing me to make the suction change between wand and head. Always used one like this one, personally. Wife is very happy with this one. Great suction that is adjustable. Light weight. She does not have to work as hard to use it. Allows her to vacuum places that she could not get into with Dyson. Thus far it has been an excellent machine. Appears to be engineered and built well.

> 24 hourI wanted to love this vacuum. It does have a strong motor and good suction that is better than my Dyson. BUT, its super loud when its on full suction, the location of accessories is awkward, and the brush doesnt fully stop rotating for rug fringe or other light settings. Ended up returning, sigh.

> 24 hourNot pleased with this unit. The rollers dont do a good job of picking up pet fur from carpeting. When it does pick it up, it tightly winds around the roller brush and has to be cut out. It does best only with pulling it backwards, not forwards. The amount of drag trying to push the roller brush unit forward will break your back. Sorry I bought it. Save your money and buy something that does actually work.....like a Shark Rotator Lift-Away Pro with DuoClean. I bought that one after this Miele failed me and it is a beast. No hair or fur stays on the roller brush with that Shark. You can buy it right off the shelf at WalMart. This Miele Classic C1 Turbo is a piece of junk and you too will be sorry. I dont understand the good ratings. Must be shills.

> 24 hourI just got this and Im not sure I like it. It works great on hard floors, but on carpet it is very difficult to push. The cleaning power is very good, but you do get a workout when pushing it back and forth. Im 72, I need something easier to push.

> 24 hourThis was a gift for a 95-year-old homemaker who prides herself on still doing her own housecleaning, and she loves it! A previous vacuum was too much for her to wrestle with, but she reports that the Miele Classic C1 Turbo Team Canister Vacuum Cleaner is easy for her to manage. She has both some wall-to-wall carpet and some runners, and she says the suction adjustment dial works perfectly for her to clean both without the runners being sucked right off the floor. She was also amazed to discover that with the swivel head, she can run the extension tube and swivel head all the way under a full queen size bed. Her children would rather their 95-year-old mother had someone to come in and clean the house for her, but this has turned out to be an excellent next-best choice.

> 24 hourShe likes it. It’s a good color. I was disappointed it didn’t have a powered rug attachment. You have to pay how much more for one of those? So like for under $800 all you get is sub par. It’s a vacuum! I’m just saying seems like they cost a lot less not that long ago. Am I crazy?

> 24 hourThis was a replacement for an old Sears vacuum. We wanted something that didnt weigh much and is capable of doing a good job. Compared to others on the market this fit that bill. Most of Miele stuff is expensive, this item was not. Probably weighs half of what the sears model does so its easy to pull it or carry around and use on stairs. The hose and attachments click together or come apart easily. Ceiling vents are easy to reach even if youre not a tall person. The hose is lightweight but very strong. The suction power is adjustable and on high it is very powerful. The cord retraction is super. The on/off switch is on the canister. Because of its smaller size the attachments couldnt be stored inside the canister. Instead the attachments mount on a rack which is attached to the hose near the base which at first I thought was weird, but it turns out that is actually convenient. The rug attachment is simple and runs on suction power from the vacuum as opposed to having its own motor. It is superb on carpet. The Miele bags are thick, adequate size and come with replacement filters should you need them. This vacuum is a testament to German engineering.
