> 3 dayPurchased for our juvenile pair of Indian Ringnecks. I didnt realize how dark their 30 x 30 cage was until I added this light. It is sturdy, very bright and as advertised. It really made a difference in showing our their plumage but it was purchased to benefit their health. Very pleased. This replaced a pedestal, free-standing cage light which was inadequate. I placed it on a bar above the cage to avoid any possibility of them biting it and to minimize the chances of it getting wet from bathtime. The bar is plugged into a smart outlet that turns on at 8:00 am and off at 8:00 pm to ensure a consistent light-dark cycle. The birds are well rested and ready for action in the morning and when that light turns on over their cage, they start their plaintive peeps to make sure we uncover the cage and give them their veggie breakfast. When it turns off at night they peep until we cover the cage and then chortle their thanks before heading to dreamland.

17-11-2024My African Grey parrot needed a source of UV light and this fit perfectly in her cage. She had no problem accepting it and its slim design means that you see the lighted cage but barely notice the light fixture.

> 3 dayI so wish I could do 5 stars for this product! The brackets for mounting it didnt fit on the light itself and certainly didnt fit when I attempted to mount it on the cage. I had to use the metal zip ties included which, I only received one long one so I couldnt even mount it properly that way. The front end is secured with the longer zip tie and then I secured the back end by using the shorter zip ties included to secure the cord tight enough it holds the lamp up. Would love it if it they had proper brackets for it to mount, Im just lucky I have a smaller conure who cant bite through the metal zip ties or cause problems to it like some might.

> 3 dayWe currently have 4 of these and use them for our Richardsons Ground Squirrels and our Prairie Dogs (prolifically adept chewers... demolition experts). The lights really do seem to help with mood regulation and behavior. The lights are bright, sturdy, and well constructed. The price is a little intimidating, when looking to eventually buy lots of units, but if they have the staying power they claim (and I suspect time will prove they do), they will prove a great investment.

> 3 dayThese lights are great. When the transformer burned out, the owner of the company sent me several more for free.

> 3 dayWe bought this light in December of 2019 because our birds feathers were not looking good. There was a noticeable difference in his mood and feather condition within the first month. Fast forward and the reason I am writing this is the OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE I received. A year and a half after purchasing this it started blinking so I messaged the seller on a Sunday of all days. They responded almost immediately and explained that it was the power supply. They explained that it’s sort of power supplies and if I would send my info they would send me a new one. Within days it arrived and the grumpy bird is in a good mood again. I did not expect this level of service from an Amazon purchase, THANK YOU!
