When I first put this on the cage Golem, my green cheeked conure, avoided the light like the plague. I kept telling him it was good for him & he should allow it to warm his feathers. Finally I put him back in his cage after a wintertime bath so he would be warmer with the light. He really did bask his cold wet feathers & after that he spent more & more time in the light. His feathers are luminous again and his entire demeanor has improved tremendously, though it wasnt bad to begin with. In other words he is even more loving than he was without the light. I highly recommend this light.

Perfect! Looks great. Fits my cage perfectly. I havent attached it but it came with tools to do so. I just sat it on top of my cage. The chew guards give me peice of mind that my birds wont get electricuted. I love that I dont have to worry about bath time and misting too.

This has been great to give my macaw some full spectrum lighting. I have it plugged into a timer and my parrot has learned that when the light goes off at night, quiet time begins. I did use the fasteners that came with it in order to secure it to the cage, however, my parrot has not made any attempts to mess with it yet. Great product!

We currently have 4 of these and use them for our Richardsons Ground Squirrels and our Prairie Dogs (prolifically adept chewers... demolition experts). The lights really do seem to help with mood regulation and behavior. The lights are bright, sturdy, and well constructed. The price is a little intimidating, when looking to eventually buy lots of units, but if they have the staying power they claim (and I suspect time will prove they do), they will prove a great investment.

The product arrived exactly as described. I installed mine on top of my African Gray’s cage. A little expensive but works fine. I am happy with it and my bird hasn’t complained about it either.

Birds look great and seem more active

Its a great light It took a little time for my Green Cheeks to get use to it but now they rather stay in the cage. I am disappointed that the power supply doesnt last and have to be replaced sooner then expected . I read complaints and I notice that it does get hot. I think its worth getting then buying a better power supply.

Parakeets really appreciate the extra light, even tho they were already by a window. They perked up a lot with this light and are more active and chirpy when it is on. I put a timer on it so it automatically gives them a set period of light every day.
