Ill keep this brief, and for reference: The home where we use this product was built in 2014. These inexpensive outlet covers are nondescript, sturdy, easy (for an adult) to insert and remove, and have—on more than one occasion—kept our thrill-seeking toddler from electrocuting himself. Any time our family can leverage an effective, low cost item to avoid a (literal) hair-raising experience… that’s a win/win! Unlike the store bought we had, these outlet covers look like them but have a much better fit in the outlets and easy to remove with a bit of work. Meaning it’s a bit tight in the outlets so a child can’t just slip them off without work and you knowing.

Decent price and quantity; they work as intended. They are not too flashy, thus they dont draw the kids to fiddle with them. Additionally, they are very strongly secured when in use, this may make them harder to connect to the outlet but this drawback is preferable to the alternative. I bought these for an alternative use to child protection. I needed caps to cover outdoor extension cords and Christmas lights to protect from the elements. My lights were always tripping outlets whenever snow melted or there was a heavy rain. These worked perfect for protecting the open ends of Christmas lights and extension cords.

These are the ones to get. They fit tightly and are hard to pull out. Ok, my DIL says the twins figured out how to get every brand of outlet plugs out of electrical outlets. But this is a great brand because they fit tightly, are slim against the outlet so little ones cant pry them away from the outlet plate easily. Just saying, your kid will eventually (and maybe sooner than later) figure out how to pry any outlet cover out of the outlet unless it is physically screwed down. But for outlet plugs, I highly recommend this brand.

These are 36 to a pack, so I should have paid more attention to the description. Do not sit flush with the outlets and so can be pulled off without any effort. Im sure my 10 month old will be able to take them off easily.Also being translucent/almost transparent they also are interesting things to explore for my son. I was getting these to fill in for the ones that were missing. The older ones in my home sit flush and have a solid color that makes them less apparent targets. I need something flat to take those off. Its not worth the shipping back and so Im going to just get others.

This is the greatest plastic device to shield the youngest of your blindest toddlers from possible death by electrocution! As a helicopter parent who values and prioritized the safety of his/her descendants, this is an excellent product to help ensure that ones lineage continues for at least the next millennia! Truly, not even Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) will have repulsor rays effective enough to remove these from the wall outlet. Neither will Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk) be able to carefully remove this item without first damaging the entire 70s repeating pattern of abstract shapes wallpaperd off the shizzle. Maybe only Ant-Man with the help of the voluptuous Wasp can successfully pull these from the grips of your grandmas retirement fragrant wall! Feel free to paint and decorate these things with Japanese or Chinese characters that most non-Japanese/Chinese people ignorantly tattoo on their pectoralis major or trapezius! I cannot emphasize how wonderful these things are that even Naruto himself can contain his excitement and had to resort to sage mode! Jiraiya would be proud! (R.I.P)! Lastly, as someone who admittedly has nothing better to do at 1:09am in the morning but to criticize automated/fake reviews on Amazon (see reviews on the Lexar Dual 16 GB SD card pack product with like 1,000 5-Star reviews), and probably should give more attention to his wife at times, please take heed and be careful of erroneous 5-Star Reviews that seem like they were written by an impoverished underage ethnic minority teen in Southeast Asia. Great for keeping the house safe

These were super inexpensive but are holding up nicely. We originally bought them because we have two puppies that like to scratch and lick the outlets. We do however, have a baby we will need these for when she gets older. They arent the easiest to get back out, but they arent too bad. When I have an issue I just use a prong from the plug of the item Im plugging in, to pop it out. They are also clear so you can hardly tell they are there.
