Needed this for when we run out to keep our pup from getting into things very sturdy and strong the auto close is a must

Overall, this gate works well in keeping our Boxer/Great Dane from pushing his way up the stairs when he gets scared by thunderstorms. It was a bit cumbersome installing (a 2-person job), but once we had the 4 tension points set up & aligned correctly, it came together nicely. The alignment is important so the gate door will fully close (top & bottom). This metal gate seems sturdy. One concern is the amount of tension needed, puts a lot of pressure on the wall & on the banister pole. Have had it for 2 wks; so far so good.

Easy to install. I’m using tension only since I’m leasing my townhouse. It is super easy to open and close. My 35lbs puppy has been leaning ALL over it and it hasn’t budged. Worth every penny!

Overall, excellent gates!!! My review speaks more against the ridiculous beast of a son I have than the gates, because NO OTHER GATES presented the slightest challenge for my son. We Bought 2 of these for my toddler, who is tall and very strong and unbelievably mechanical... he is able to give it a hearty shove and wiggle the rubber pad off the sticky foam parts, which dislodges it just enough to make the top not latch. Also, he figured out that he can easily open it by pulling up on the bottom part of the gate, so it no longer keeps him out, but its tall enough that he doesnt climb all the way over yet, so they present a worthy obstacle to keep him busy for a couple minutes before he escapes into or out of wherever hes supposed to be. They keep my 1yo daughter and several friends dogs and our cat where they need to be without any issues, so for a normal kid or pet I think these are awesome and well worth the money. My only problem is that they slide off the foam adhesive part pretty easily, and have to be adjusted JUST right or they unlatch on top.

This gate is well made overall and serves its purpose just. For me, the purpose was to keep some rooms off limits from our new dog. The issue I have is that I bought two within about a month of each other. As you can see from the photos I attached, one handle has an angle to it whereas the other is more square. The version with the angled handle shuts and opens far more smoothly. I frequently find myself fumbling with the latch of the square version to ensure it is fully latched. Obviously, this is not ideal. The version with the square latch was the second one I received, but I cannot tell if it is an older or newer design. It is certainly the inferior version and had I received it first, wouldnt have bought it again. Overall, the version with the angled handle is 5 star and the square handle is a 2-3 star item at best, especially given the price. I didnt return it only because my application is not as critical as keeping a toddler from falling down a flight of stairs.

We bought two of these white gates, this wider one and the other a bit narrower. I was able to install them myself pretty easily after first reviewing the instructions (repeat, first read the instructions and if you follow them you should not have any issues with installation). We placed them on our deck, which has between four to six steps on two sides of it, to contain our puppy and adult dog when we don’t want them loose in the yard. They are sturdy and look really nice, blending in with the white deck rails. I especially like how the gate can be opened in either direction with one hand and will automatically close and latch, but the gate can also be fully opened to a point where it catches to remain open. Being that ours are exposed to weather, we’ll periodically need to touch up areas where rust can develop, basically at the bottom areas of where the rails are welded, but I’ve been impressed with how they have held up to what has been a lot of varying temperatures and rain here in northern Virginia. I don’t take the time to write reviews on many of my purchases, but because this product exceeded my expectations I wanted others considering it to know it’s worth the money.

Needed to keep my bulldog on the porch And was awesome. The gate is easy to use .

We wanted something that looked nice, while not drilling any holes (although you have that option). This fit perfectly (we had to take one extension out). I love that the bolts adjust and holds steady on the walls. This does the trick for keep our dogs from going downstairs. The access door is easy to open and close. I recommend 100%!

This is a sturdy product which is easy to assemble and worth the price
