> 3 dayThis gate took a few tries at configuring to get just the right size for the wide area we bought it for. I did not consider the baseboards when I measured before ordering, therefore we had to install it right above baseboard for it to fit snuggly; we are using pressure installation rather than screws. Due to my improper measuring it is about 4 inches above the floor rather that sitting flat on floor, therefore, we have to be sure to step over when going thru gate, so far this has not been an issue. The walk thru feature is the best part of this gate! It functions just as stated in the description. Weve used the gate for 2 weeks now while dog-sitting our grandpup. He is a 55lb Portuguese Water Dog and has definitely put this gate to the strength test by standing with front paws on top rail and jumping against it...the gate did not budge at all. Our grandpup is not here on a regular basis so we plan to take gate down and store until his next visit. Not sure how easy it will be to reinstall after taking down, may need to re-secure the area that was emphasised to not remove until installed. This gate is very sturdy and if you measure correctly before purchasing and follow the directions when installing (theres video directions also) you will have no problems!

> 3 dayThis is a great gate. Its the second one weve purchased. We didnt want to drill holes in our woodwork and this tension gate solves that problem. It fits snug and its hard for small children to open! We like the dark brown color as it matches the dark trim its attached to. I appreciate that these come in different widths and are expandable.

> 3 dayWhen first installing these gates, it was quite difficult to do. The threaded stems attached to circular plates to go into each of the fours corners were quite difficult. Especially when you dont want to mount (with holes) into your door ways. I realized that the problem is when tightening these treaded stems at each corner which has tight holes but without threads. What I recommend is to buy additonal M10-1.5 hex nuts (qty=4) so that each steam has two nuts. Tighten one nut against the cirular plate on each end to solve the problem of gripping the end from turning as you tighten the 2nd nut towards each corner of the gate. The streaded stem is long enough to be stable and be firm after the installation. The purpose is to stablize the gap between the gate and the doorway. No holes in the wall and the gate is rock hard in place. Problem solved.

> 3 dayBe wary that some of the metal had jagged inperfections, which caused two gashes and two small cuts on my fingers during assembly. These issues could cause injury to your pets or children. Otherwise, it is a nice sturdy gate.

> 3 dayThis baby gate is very sturdy. Im on the top floor of my apartment and this keeps both my 8 month old and 4 year old unable to leave the living area to get access to the stairs. Along with my 1 year old nephew when he visits. Basically none of them have been able to figure it out. Not even my 4 year old and hes very smart, but nope. He tries but not happening. I had to use one extension and it works perfectly. One thing I will say is after a month the door started getting stuck. It needed lubricant extremely fast! So bad that it wouldnt even budge when trying to swing the door open. So stuck that both me and my sister nearly flipped over the gate instead XD. And let me tell you; if you fall over the gate; have fun falling on the other side because that gate aint budging nowhere. I do give a lot of that credit to ordering the wall nanny baby gate wall protector! Ive never tried the gate without them but I know for fact its made the baby gate way more sturdy and unable to budge than without them. Its almost as sturdy as if it were screwed right into the wall. You need to order the wall nanny to get the best result possible so the baby gate doesnt budge even from the weight of a full grown adult. I swear I flipped right over the darned thing XD. Very impressive. Buy that in combination of a lubricant and youre golden. Id suggest the wd-40 gel lubricant. Baby gate door swings open like butter now. I will say that I never install baby gates at my stairs with the babies no matter how secure or safe the gate seems. If anything were to happen or malfunction one day I rather it not be at the top of the stairs! Id highly suggest putting it elsewhere to block access to the stairs for the babies. That way if and when it ever were to fail no ones going downstairs and you have time to react/ fix said issue.

Hi
> 3 dayWe ended up buying two of these gates (one to block off the foyer area and another one for the kitchen area). I was concerned about the stability of the gates since we needed to swap the extension pieces due to the width of our entryway openings. Thankfully it worked out well! We used two of the 11” extensions (one on each side) of a gate and it works! Part “D” as labeled in their image is the 11 inches extension in case this might help someone else. 2 of the 11” extension with a door in between is able to hold up well to a 25 lbs toddler hanging and pulling herself back and forth like a monkey! Haha. Highly recommend this gate because it also enables us to use our feet to lift the gate up and open it while we’re carrying a sleeping baby. Thank you for the awesome gates!

> 3 dayThis was easy to install and versatile for a number of settings. We found overtime though that the gate began misaligning due to heavy use. Would recommend only for low traffic areas, this did it work well on the long term for ours which sees usage 10-20 times a day.

> 3 dayWe love this gate! It took me about 20 minutes to install, but man is it sturdy! We have zero issues with it. I made sure to mount it into the wood area so it doesn’t pull out of the wall. My 15 month old frequently stands on the bottom of the gate, and my 7 year old also gets caught leaning on it with his full weight. This gate holds! It’s super easy to open and close, even for the 7 year old. A simply pull back on the clip and up on the gate and you are in. Keeps the baby out. She LOVES helping us close the gate. It fit perfect in our kitchen door way, which is wider than an average door, as it comes with multiple extension pieces. We used one extension and didn’t need the others. Have had it for severa months now and do not regret the purchase.
