> 24 hourRead all the one star reviews and all of them had to do with sharpening issues! Maybe the QC department needs to be relooked at Morakniv, but my knife was sharp as hell out of the box and withstood a day out in a bushcraft setting well! The full tang makes for a sturdy platform to pound through limbs up to four inches in diameter at a perpendicular. (I pulled the knife out and cut through from both sides.) Works if you dont have a saw. Blade sharpness wasnt phased. Cut stakes, toggles, and widdled the rest of the day and used it as a steak knife later for dinner. I opted for the leather sheath for nostalgic reasons, but am considering buying the poly sheath as well. Im sure the knife will far outlast the rawhide. I would have sent it back immediately had the blade arrived dull. Kind of stupid review to complain about a possible bad batch in the manufacturing line. Morakniv is a very reputable company. As I said, maybe they need to relook the QC department - post production! Im very content with the quality of this knife!

> 24 hourAfter watching hundreds of reviews on this knife I ended up buying it and couldnt be happier. Definitely a workhorse of a knife and extremely sharp. The leather sheath is top quality as well and solid.

> 24 hourI bought this for general use camping, and I’m definitely satisfied with this. It’s solid, feels ok in the hand, and was quite literally sharp enough to shave with when I got it. I’ve used it pretty frequently for the month I’ve had it, and it’s held up great, but I don’t abuse my stuff so I can’t speak to it’s real durability. The only downsides are the loose sheath (which also describes a lot of the chicks I’ve dated) and the fact that using the spine with a ferro rod will make a bunch of sharp little burrs.

> 24 hourI own several Moraknivs, but all are stainless. I purchased this carbon blade to put in a get home bag and to be able to use as a striker for a ferro rod. The price is extremely high in comparison to others in their line. The first one got lost during shipping, and I had to reorder. When it finally arrived, I noticed the handle was made of a much harder plastic than the other Moraknivas that I own. The handle also seemed smaller than the others as well. I could see that it may slip out of your hand if the handle was wet, which could be dangerous with the blade being razor sharp. I will probably add talon grip tape to the handle to improve grip. It is full tang, which is much different than most of their knives. It seems to be a rugged and much more durable knife than the others I own. The plastic sheath is like most Moras and the knife snaps in place. The belt loop is mediocre, but as it is in the bag, so it does not concern me. It is a much better camping knife than a standard Mora. In the past I have taken a mora, but used a different knife for heavier duties. This knife can clean the fish, cut the firewood, light the fire, and assist during food prep. So far, I like it, but it seems to me to be a bit expensive. You can rely on this one knife, so in that respect, it may make it worth it.

> 24 hourIve done plenty of research on Bushcraft Knives and this one will not break the Bank or Disappoint! I cant see a reason to spend more. Easy Scandi design bevel makes it easy to sharpen! I purchased a Duel sharpening Stone 3000 & 8000 grit and sharpened most everything I have. It will stand up to anything!

> 24 hourDisapointed. Out of the box this knife was really dull. I just spent 45 min on a diamond sharpener and i still cant get this thing to cut paper.
