Morakniv Garberg Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife with Carbon Steel Blade

What more can I say that hasn’t been said about this knife. I’ve had many great fixed blades over the years and this one is up there with ones that cost a lot more. I bought it to replace an Esee Laser Strike that I lost (huge bummer, another fantastic knife for the money) but I’m very satisfied with the Mora. Tough as hell and comfortable in size. Highly recommend for any outdoors application, although may be a little undersized if you are looking for a larger blade length, I wish mora would make the garberg in a 5” to 6” format. Best bang for the bucks by far though!

This is the last work horse of the bushcraft knife I’ve bought. It will serves me a lifetime. I’m a big fan of carbon steel blades ( MORAKNIV also sells one with a stainless steel blade ). You cannot beat price/quality of MORAKNIV knifes IMHO.

Knife arrived really dull. Disappointing as I paid 90 bucks for it. For that amount of money a knife should come shaving sharp. Anyway, its basically a Mora knife with a full tang, but for 2 - 3 times the price. There is nothing remarkable about this knife compared to similar knives at a lower price point. Como estudiante de ciencias de la tierra y durante mi trabajo de campo quería un cuchillo que fuera robusto y filoso, también bonito-táctico pero sin caer en cuchillos con el típico diseño súper táctico con acero de baja calidad, incluso que pudiera servir como herramienta de defensa en caso de requerirlo. El Garberg es robusto, tiene un largo de hoja bastante bueno, es de espiga completa y sobresale en la parte inferior en forma de “rompe cristales”, se siente pesadito, su mango también es bastante robusto, sus accesorios le vienen bastante bien estética y funcionalmente, y para terminar es bastante bonito en su versión de acero al carbón, el filo es muy bueno, sinceramente esperaba un poquito más, pero suficiente; apenas logra rasurar. Les recomiendo pidan el Multi-Mount kit para montarlo en sistemas MOLLE y en otras partes, vale la pena pedir el cuchillo y el kit de accesorios en la misma compra!.
