> 24 hourIf I had to choose a wall mount for my expensive TV I’m going to choose something I know is NOT going to fall. I ended up on this nice lil fella here to do just the trick! Installation: Since my wife did not want to give me a hand and my 1.5 year old son was sleeping I decided to give it a go on my own. Yea I did it and yea it wasn’t too bad. The hardest part honestly is getting the bubble level they sent you perfectly straight on the mounting pattern sheet. Once I had that on I stuck the sheet up there with the adhesive backs and predrilles some holes into the studs. Next, with my superhuman brute strength, I lifted the bracket into position, against the tape on pattern, and added one bolt. Followed by the next. Followed by 2 more(don’t forget the washers). Two of the holes didn’t have the center crosshairs that the mounting pattern comes with so it ended up being maybe a degree off tilt. Luckily they have a nice little adjustment screw that lets you make fine +-3 degree adjustments. Then I hulled my massive yet elegant tv into the bracket and voila. I settled for where it was because I’m sure as heck not doing that again... Durability: My tv is still on the wall and it is an lg oled so if it falls I’m not going to be too happy. So far so good. Some third category: Better prices than Best Buy and better reassurance than sketchy eBay listings. If you have a cheaper tv you can find a cheaper bracket I’m sure. But if your looking for best bang for buck then this is a decent option. Peace out homies -Grandma

> 24 hourJust installed for my 65in. TV. Build quality is excellent. Just mounting wall bracket takes two people. I did it myself put it was some work. One person to hold bracket and the other to screw bolt into stud. Very well designed. I would go with a lighter weight model if you have a 55 in TV. The wall will come down before this puppy will. This model is overkill for a 55in. TV. I like the design as you can slide the TV left or right several inches for centering. Finding the studs can limit how well you can center the TV. Some brackets fold back against the wall but move the TV left or right when TV is against the wall. This brand pulls the TV straight out and back. The instructions need improvement, mostly pictures, some verbage is needed on how to use the template. Biggest problem for me was making sure i was in the center of the stud. Be sure you measure carefully several times as there is not much room for error. I would also recommend that the slot holes be enlarged slightly as the bolt just fits into the slot. A small level is supplied that attaches to the template. Be sure it is precisely centered. A little bit off and the template with not be exactly level. I had to shift the bracket all the way to one side for centering in my application. Doing so caused the mounting bolt head to just clear a metal lip that is located on the top and bottom of bracket. I had difficulty getting my socket wrench onto the bolt head. A socket wrench is supplied but there is no way it will get the bolt into the stud more than a half inch or so. A socket wrench is needed for more leverage. They need to give another 1/8 clearance or so between the lip and bolt head.

> 24 hourSo... I like to go overkill on some projects, especially like this where a heavy object could potentially fall on my child. So, I spend the extra $ for what appears to be a more premium mount, and they delivered. Now, as far as mounting goes, I have an older 50 Samsung Plasma TV which weighs a good bit, and back to what I previously said about things that could possibly fall on my child... I went overkill on this install. I already had an outlet installed behind the TV and, when I installed it I thought I had it centered just right as to avoid interference with any mount later on but go figure I was about a 1/2 too far to the right and this mount would have been on top of the right side of the faceplate. No worries, I wanted to put some boards (which I still need to paint) under the mounting bracket anyway so I could proceed with my overkill install. I had some scrap 1x4 boards that I cut to size. Two went behind the mount, the other 1 went on the other side of the wall to which the TV would be mounted which just so happened to just be a closet space in my office, so no biggie. Pre-drilled everything out and used some 3.5 bolts to hold the mount in place, bolted to the studs which I found out werent my houses usual 16 on center (for unknown reasons) on this wall, and used four 8 bolts to straddle the studs for the top of the mount. So the first image is from the closet side showing the 4 bolts protruding from the wall, straddling the studs, and the other two pictures show the boards on the front side and how they also allowed enough offset from the wall for my outlet, and a bit larger of a footprint so I dont crush the drywall with the pressure of kids (or anybody else) possibly pulling on the TV. Bolts need to be cut, ground down and siliconed so they cant cut anything up, and the boards need to be painted still, but you get the point. Suffice it to say this isnt coming down, exactly how it should be in a house with youngins

> 24 hourOkay Amazon, you just rejected my first review - love the machine intelligence. I spent a lot of time reading reviews on AMZN and the web on mounting options, mounting bracket reviews, etc. and settled on this one. Package arrived in mint condition (rare as its heavy) and contained all the necessary pieces and parts, including 2 levels which were very handy if you didnt own any. The instructions were shockingly clearly and easy to understand and the mounting itself pretty simple and straight forward. I ended up having to mount this using some solid wood stringers as the studs in my wall are 24 apart and I couldnt make it work where I wanted it to, namely the exact center of the viewing room. Not a big deal really. Using 2 people to mount would make it even easier so if that is an option then go for it. I am glad I took some extra time and really measured out dimensions because had I defaulted to using some formulas (well presented) on the Internet my TV would have been mounted way, way too high. My advice is to take your time, get a friend or partner to help, and it will be an easy 2-3 hour job start to finish (locating, measuring, modifying, hanging tv + cable mgmt) I used some heavy duty 3 Torx wafer head lag screws to mount the bracket to the solid wood stringers - worked great. Mount comes with a variety of machine and lag screws of different lengths to accommodate for a variety of options and TVs. Final mounting was easy though a true 2 person job. I like the ability to adjust the TV at a slight (5-10 degree) angle to cut down on glare from the back window....nice touch.

> 24 hourComes with wood stud hardware to install. It comes also with a disposable 3 inch level and 3 velcro straps for cords. The TV I have is on the heavier side but this TV mount is sturdy and well built. This TV mount comes with a thin cardboard template to help ease of install. Great TV mount a little stiff to move in and out but thats to be expected since its new its also better because it feels more secure, It doesnt feel cheap.

> 24 hourThis is the mount you need. I have a 65 Samsung KS8000 and it fits like a dream...pun intended. Ive seen some people complain that the included hardware doesnt work with the KS8000 but that isnt the case. These are the type of people that should just hire someone to do the job since they cant do a little trial and error with the provided spacers. It took 5 minutes to get the right combination and I was on my way. I originally ordered a different mount from monoprice but it was mislabeled and wouldnt work my my 24 studs. The mount from monoprice was gigantic and came in a huge box...its going to be a pain in the ass to send back. When the Mounting Dream arrived I thought they sent a smaller mount by mistake. Nope...this thing is just packaged and designed perfectly. It looks incredible. The design is sleek and professional. Its almost a shame that it is going to be hiding behind a TV! The included instructions were great and the included mounting template made installation a breeze. It took longer for me to measure and figure out exactly where I wanted the TV to sit than it did to install the mount. The included level is a nice thought but you are going to want to use a real level for a project like this. I was able to install this mount by myself and hang the TV. You probably should have two people but if you are an average sized guy you should have no problem getting the bracket on the wall. The TV might be another story depending on how high you are mounting it. Luckily mine isnt that far off the ground. With 4 lag bolts in the studs this mount isnt going anywhere. There is zero sag when fully extended and adjustments are simple. I am so glad that the other mount I purchased didnt work out. The mounting dream is the best mount Ive ever used!

> 24 hourI have now installed eight of these mounts on 55” and 65” inch TV’s I am at a loss to know what more I would want in a TV mount The key features are: One-piece long wall plate is all assembled and can be placed on the wall without the TV Includes a cardboard template that makes it easy to predetermine approximately were and what holes you will use to mount the one-piece long wall plate Screws to mount the One-piece long wall plate to studs are included. Two brackets with the necessary screws included attach to your TV and then once attached you can pick up the TV and hang the brackets onto One-piece long wall plate easily. Two tube clips with screws lock those brackets with TV onto wall plate. A lot of extra hardware so you have the right screws and spacers. Things to watch out for: The One-piece long wall plate as delivered is too tight for moving TV once assembled. It is better to loosen the six (6) pivot bolts before mounting the long wall plate on wall (not too much about a turn and a half each. For this you will need a Hex Key Wrench Set and an open end wrench set (strange but true I found two different size nuts). Check the feel of opening the plate before installation. To mount first install the two brackets on your TV then measure from bottom of TV to top of hook on bracket . With that measurement establishing the height of the One-piece long wall plate is easy. I have observed that many people want the TV too high in a living room this will strain the neck. I position the bottom of the TV 46 inches above the floor. A bedroom is different because for two reasons you are lying in bed and occasionally one must look over a too tall belly. I position the bottom of the TV 56 inches above the floor (check for overhead clearance before mounting. Find the wood studs you plan to mount wall plate to. Use the cardboard template to determine the position of the upper left lag screw and which two elongated holes work correctly for your studs. Drill a pilot hole for the first lag screw, then with a washer on the lag screw fasten the upper left side of the wall plate about one turn loose. Use a level to position the wall plate and drill the upper right hole and use a second lag screw with washer. Recheck level; recheck distance from floor to bottom of TV (as planned). Install lag screws three and four. Tighten all lag screws. Then Hang TV then connect TV If for some reason the set is not level this can be adjusted at this point. Remember you may have exposed wires you don’t like. Please see my review of the Datacomm 50-3338-WH-KIT Easy Mount Cable Organizer Kit and PORTER-CABLE 43218 3/16-Inch Piloted Down Spiral Drywall Cutout Bit to help you with that problem Good Luck Mounting to wood studs is easy. I have mounted some to metal studs using 1/4 X 3-1/4 T-Anchors - For Hollow Cavity Applications when you use this part you will need to add a lot of spacers or chase the threads further as the threads have not been chased far enough to tighten the screw. Also after you tighten screw you will probably want to cut off the excess thread.

> 24 hourGiven the fact that I already own 2 other TV mounts from this exact brand already. I knew that I was purchasing the best without any questions. Although the description may say for 45 TVs and up... I think its more around the lines of 60+. Thats my opinion though... This mount is huge and can potentially be bigger than some 45 TVs... So just a heads up. The TV that I installed it with is a 65 and I feel that it is perfect for the size. Also wanted to praise this buy with the things it includes (which I dont think they advertise enough). With the purchase you get the instructions to put it up (or you can YouTube it), a paper stencil of the mount to make your marking on the wall extremely easier, 2 levels (one for the mount and one for the mount paper stencil), a drill bit for mounting screws, a socket wrench for the mounting screws and all the little extra parts if needed. I really recommend this company for any mounting, but would also recommend for you to do the research on the perfect size for your TV. As stated above, I feel this one is perfect for anything 60+.

> 24 hourI used this wall mount for a 65 Sony. It is very solid and sturdy, I have no fear that it will come off the wall. It includes all possible combination of screws etc that one might need for its installation. I liked that most of the mount was first attached to the wall. Then the two vertical pieces attached to the TV. The TV could then be lifted and hung on the wall mount. The two brackets that hold the TV to the mount could be attached without physically holding the TV in place. One of the horizontal bars right behind the TV blocked the optical out connector that I wanted to use. I was able to slide the TV about an inch off center on the wall mount to get around this. It is also possible to change the location vertical mounts to the TV up or down depending on the TV. It is easy to swivel the TV as needed. I face it straight ahead to watch TV from my recliner or swivel it left to watch while using my elliptical. The only thing I still need to do is find out how to hold the TV perfectly horizontal. There seems to be a little play that allows the TV to get a bit out of horizontal when I swivel it. However, once set to horizontal it stays there until I move it again.
