New Super Mario Bros

I liked the fact that the game card had no visible wear signs. The thing was that the last user or someone else did not erase the memory. Not nessesarly a bad thing though.

This game is so much fun. It would be a plus if there was more cool features but it had plenty, i guess i am just being greedy because this is a game i played when i was growing up and now its nice to play it again with better graphics and other improvements. oh and most importantly, you can play with your friends multi player game option thats going to keep you guys busy for hours- laughing and screaming, its great!- its too much to explain in terms of what makes the multi player so awesome but it is, it really really is.

This is a well made game. Its not as good as Super Mario 3 on the original NES, but it plays kind of similarly Im not really used to hand-held gaming, but I suppose Ill get used to it. The game only offers two different button configurations, and neither of them is the one I would prefer. Me, I have a little trouble with the game because I only get to play pretty rarely, but it is fun and most players will have a good time I think. It is far superior to some other games for the ds/3ds because of its gameplay mechanics and whatnot. Other side-scrollers should strive for this level of playability.

As a fan of Mario games, this game is definitely a must own. Ive heard people complain that it doesnt offer a whole lot of change or innovation compared to games like Super Mario Bros 3 on NES or Super Mario World on SNES, but honestly, thats kind of the point. This game, and indeed the series of games that it spawned (the New Super Mario Bros games) are very deliberately retro. They very deliberately use the same gameplay as the classics. That said, they still do offer some new power-ups that allow for new/different ways to do things. So no, its not the next generation of games, but it is another iteration of the classic formula that people still love, and apparently still want, considering how well this series seems to be selling. In addition to the main storyline game (if it can even be said to have much of a story), this also includes a load of mini-games and multiplayer games, some of which DONT require a second copy of the game to play (as long as the other party has a DS). All in all a great purchase for fans of the Mario series.

The only problem that I have with this game is Marios controls. He is too floatie, gamers will know what I mean. It drives me up the walls and I cant play it for long periods of time like I want. The game itself is fun and love how it reminds me of the OLD Mario games that my dad had for the old Nintendo systems. I just wish that when I have Mario move just a small amount that he doesnt go feather than I wanted him to and ends up getting me killed and losing lives that Ill need for later on harder levels. Other than that it came on time along with the other things that I ordered. No problems getting it delivered to my mailbox.

Not as good as pervious Mario games.

Great Product!! The graphics are amazing and you can even get really big or really tiny depending on the mushroom you get. The only issue is that the levels get really hard really fast (into 2nd world) my 5 year son is a video game pro and has trouble with some of the spots in the levels (2 and up). In the old game you did not get into really hard levels until level 6 or 7. This is a great game and lots of fun, I would not get it for small kids unless you can beat the world for them.

No Negative thoughts on this. Just a good port of a mario game for on a road trip.

This was another christmas gift we got for our 9 yo daughter. She likes it and we, her parents, LOVE IT!! It is just like the mario I remember playing when nintendo first came out when I was a kid!! MY favorite game of all time!! would buy again and My poor daughter loses her nintendo DS evertytime she gets in trouble. ther eis an alterior motive to that though. she gets punished by losing her nintendo DS, but I get lucky and get to play this game when that happens. Wonder what she has done to get it taken away recently, I wanna play it!!

Grandsons birthday, and he needed a few games. I was informed by his mother that he wanted Super Mario Bros., so I ordered it for him. From what my daughter tells me, he loves the game, and cant put it down. As soon as he gets home from school, he starts playing the game. Now he wants more Mario Bros. games. Have to wait for Christmas.
