Greater than one weekThis was another christmas gift we got for our 9 yo daughter. She likes it and we, her parents, LOVE IT!! It is just like the mario I remember playing when nintendo first came out when I was a kid!! MY favorite game of all time!! would buy again and My poor daughter loses her nintendo DS evertytime she gets in trouble. ther eis an alterior motive to that though. she gets punished by losing her nintendo DS, but I get lucky and get to play this game when that happens. Wonder what she has done to get it taken away recently, I wanna play it!!

> 3 dayLike all these over priced cartridges my kids love them for a month or so and then grow tired of it. I did ask my kids what they thought of the game before writing this review (6 and 9). They simply gave me the standard answer, Its OK, its fun. However, I can tell my 9 year old daughter has outgrown the meager value and simplistic nature of the DS. Sorry for the poor product review, but the majority of these Mario games all look about the same considering the very grainy graphics, 2 square screen and 2D play. Its a good time waster for my kids while driving, but I have realized that the screen is so small that they are often straining from 12 inches away to see the characters. To be flat out honest, I dont know why anybody would pay $200 for a DS when you can by a 7 tablet for the same amount of money. I dont sell electronics for a living but the tablets have significantly more capability, power, appealing graphics and most important - Free software! I thought size was the primary issue for buying the DS, but all my sons friends have crash cases which make carrying their DS similar to carring around a brick. I didnt buy the DS for my kids, but I did buy the cartridge used on Amazon. It was packaged, looks and works like new for one-third the price. Apparently thousands of kids that are much older than my kids love the DS device and all the Mario games. I wish someone could explain to me why compared to other devices and products on the market that are much more capable and cheaper to play.

> 3 dayAlong with purchasing the DS I also purchased this Super Mario Bros. The game has so many levels and screens. My son enjoys how small the games are. Now he has a storage box to keep everything in.

> 3 dayThis game is primarily played by my 6 year old. He enjoys it and finds it challenging but fun. You have to help Mario rescue the princess from the evil turtle, Bowser. Hes never made it all the way through the game yet, but he may be a bit younger than the age group Nintendo was aiming for. Give him time! He said he did kill Bowser once, and for that he is quite proud, but he came back to life.

> 3 dayI love this game. Its basically like the older Mario but revamped with new tricks and moves. New levels and some old ones too with different quirks. I bought this game for my two daughters, but lowkey, I bought it for myself. I couldnt wait until it came in the mail for me to play it! They dont know I have the game and its not time for gift giving yet (which is about 2 weeks away). I think Ill play it until then lol. One thing Nintendo was always on point with was their Mario games. Nintendo has always been a child to teen system to me, but they always deliver.
