> 3 dayAlong with purchasing the DS I also purchased this Super Mario Bros. The game has so many levels and screens. My son enjoys how small the games are. Now he has a storage box to keep everything in.

> 3 dayGreat mario game, reminds me of the old school mario games i used to play growing up. I got this as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it too. We enjoy playing this style mario more than other 3d versions for my 3ds. I am looking forward to buying the second one after i finish this one.

Greater than one weekWhat is there not to like about this game. Fun for all ages. This is easily one of the best games for DS. As old as it is, it would be a great gift for someone with a DS that has not played it yet. The beauty of this game is simple platforming. Jumping on things, great colorful environments. Good for ages 7 and up. Only because of the game mechanics.

> 3 dayit is a very good game. a lot like the original Mario Bros. for the first Nintendo system. the levels look very similar to the first mario game. the difference is that mario has more abilities than he did in the original game and the graphics are pretty good. he can jump a lot higher, he can store an item for later use, and jump of walls to reach higher places. the items are cool too. there is one mushroom that makes you very big and you can crush things. another mushroom that makes you super small and light weight so you can jump super high and fit into tiny spaces.there is also a shell mario can where in underwater levels that helps him swim faster. this game keeps you very entertained because there are alot of secret levels and its fun trying to find them. but if you wanna take a break from the actual game there are a lot of mini games you can play that are kinda like the Mario Party games and they are very fun too. you can even battle against other DS players. this game has a lot of elements from the older and newer mario games and i think it is a good game for mario fans of all ages.

> 3 dayI will admit that I was a little reluctant at first but after trying this game out I can tell you that this game is really a sucsess, but then again, who was expecting it not to be? Almost every game that comes out of nintedo has a quality about it that blows away other handheld gaming platforms. I know what you are thinking, hes just another nintendo fanboy, but this is not the case. This game is amazingly well put together and i would recommend it to anyone with a ds and $20 extra lying around the house...

Greater than one weekI love this game. Its basically like the older Mario but revamped with new tricks and moves. New levels and some old ones too with different quirks. I bought this game for my two daughters, but lowkey, I bought it for myself. I couldnt wait until it came in the mail for me to play it! They dont know I have the game and its not time for gift giving yet (which is about 2 weeks away). I think Ill play it until then lol. One thing Nintendo was always on point with was their Mario games. Nintendo has always been a child to teen system to me, but they always deliver.

> 3 dayI have always played the puzzle type games (Tetris etc.) but decided to try this game with the new DS system. I became addicted....I love it. This is the first Mario game I have played so cant compare it to other Mario games but I have played such games as Shrek and Lord of the Rings and find the Mario game more fun and easier to play. I am older (57) so dont have the skills of some of the younger users but enjoyed sharing it with my nephew as we compared gameplay. He always beat me of course....:-)

> 3 dayThis is a well made game. Its not as good as Super Mario 3 on the original NES, but it plays kind of similarly Im not really used to hand-held gaming, but I suppose Ill get used to it. The game only offers two different button configurations, and neither of them is the one I would prefer. Me, I have a little trouble with the game because I only get to play pretty rarely, but it is fun and most players will have a good time I think. It is far superior to some other games for the ds/3ds because of its gameplay mechanics and whatnot. Other side-scrollers should strive for this level of playability.
