I got this projector to have movie and family slide nights outside on summer evenings with the kids. This projector has many input options so I like it being compatible with any of several devices/methods. I used a thumb drive for a trial. Used front projection indoor on a smooth white wall. Brightness and picture quality were excellent ! Outdoor, started using it on a taught bed sheet with back projection. The “picture reversing” setting option for back projection worked perfectly. Of course the bed sheet didn’t do the projector’s picture justice in the test. Nevertheless, the picture was nice and bright. Also picture size is about the size of the pictured sheet at the distance shown in the picture which works well (particular slide shown had a smaller picture size). I am proceeding to get a good outdoor screen (for front/back projection). I tried to use the remote (the necessary interface) from the screen front with the projector behind the bed-sheet - did not work consistently. Changing projector settings and media files during back projection is important with the user sitting in front of the screen. I am hoping remote works with back projection better through a front/back projection designed screen. Front screen projection worked well for some family slides and a video (albeit using a bed sheet). The adjustments for projector-screen setup were mostly complete. A post from the projector bottom facilitates picture up-down adjustment. Also it has knob adjustment for squaring sides of the picture (vertical keystone) when the projector is at a higher or lower height than the middle of the screen (is usually the case). An added adjustment to make the picture top/bottom level when the projector is sitting on an ad-hoc un-level base especially in outdoor setup would help. An auto-ID of media type would help to see all compatible files available and not have to switch between picture/movie modes with mixed media. I am encouraged and excited about using it many summer nights !

Very easy to use and set up. Great picture for the price. Unit is light weight and portable. Remote is easy to use. Bluetooth/screen casting is a game changer, you can run this with one wire(power)

The picture quality is very crisp. It was easy to set up. The remote control and UI are intuitive and responsive. If the projector is pointed at an angle, you cant get the whole thing in focus at the same time, though honestly I dont notice while Im watching. It seems like the room needs to be fairly dark to be able to see it well; Im not sure how this compares with other projectors. The sound is kind of weak to me, better use external speakers; not sure how this compares with other projectors either.

Have used projectors in the past, about 30 years ago, and impressed with the features now available at this price point. Initial use of this projector was all wired, 4K Windows laptop connected through HDMI, an iPhone connected to the projector through USB, a remote speaker wired directly to the headphone/speaker-out 3.5mm output jack; all without problems. There is some fan noise, but it wasn’t noticed until the speaker was turned off, is when it really becomes perceptible. The projected video is of good quality with good color rendition. The output brightness is good, even with some ambient light. It was not until the wireless functions were explored, that the challenges came. There is a printed manual, in readable English, that is comprehensive of projector functions. There is a QR code on the manual, for a helpful installation video. Following these instructions, the projector was setup for WiFi with the respective SSID, and then used the iOS Cast procedure shown on pages 17 and 22 of the user manual. The display of the iPhone was projected on the screen, but then when it came time to setup Bluetooth, there was difficulty in setting it up. Had to remember that to get to the settings menu, had to select the Multimedia option, select Settings, then browse down to the Bluetooth option. With my Bluetooth speaker in pairing mode, was able to select it by name. While trying to get out of the settings menu, the projector screen froze, could not get the projector to respond. So, it was necessary to reset the projector by pressing the power button on the remote control to turn it off. After turning the device back on, decided to reverse the procedure, first set up Bluetooth, as shown in page 28 of the manual, then set up iOS Cast. That worked. Upon playing a video on the iPhone, the display was projected on the screen, but the sound kind of wobbled, going in and out. Wondered if the projector had difficulty multitasking, with both video and sound wireless. To answer that question, attached my 4K Windows laptop through the Windows Cast procedure on page 17 of the users manual. There was no problem this time, the projector handled the laptop’s wireless video and audio signals without skipping a best, so maybe there is a problem with the iOS handling firmware on the projector? To try to answer this question, setup Bluetooth with my external speaker, then, wired the iPhone per pages 17 and 19 of the manual to the projector through iOS Cable Cast. In this case, there was no problem with the audio. So, there was only a problem when projecting both sound and video from an iPhone to the projector wirelessly. The manual we found, while it presents the functions of the projector, is not a step by step procedural presentation. In the case of the Bluetooth function, that needs to be set up first, to get it to work, before setting up the video functions. In closing, I’d like to say, that the left focus button needs to be pressed on the remote control, to retract the lens into the projector, such that the lens cap can be put on, before pressing the power button on the remote to turn power off. The projector is quite good, but it does have a few quirks.

Only issue is its hard to find the focus because its so out of focus at first. Once you figure that out it is awesome. People were saying the lips were off with audio, mine is not. Also people saying the fan is to loud, I really dont think that either. For the price of this, its amazing!!!!!

Ive been trying to find a projector for a while now, and this one was a great pick. Its very easy to set up and use, and has all your standard projector features. Its easy to adjust the picture angle or brightness, and the included speakers are actually pretty good. My FAVORITE thing about this speaker is that I dont need to wire it into my computer. It can do wireless connections to my devices, which saves me a TON of headache and really opens up my options. Honestly, I dont have any complaints with this product. Its exactly what I was hoping it would be

Setup was very easy. It connected to wifi, Bluetooth and screen mirroring worked like a charm. It is bigger than I thought it would but it is very light weight which is nice. The built in speaker is better than I thought and the volume can get nice and loud. Some cons, the fan is pretty noisy when its on. It definitely works best in a dark room and colors werent as bright as I would have wanted. It would also be nice to be able to adjust setting with something playing but that doesnt seem possible. Overall for the price, I think its a pretty good projector. Fun for outdoor movie nights.

    Greater than one week

At first glance, the quality of the box itself was great including the helpful package details along the side of it. Secondly, I saw the pieces were individually wrapped and stowed separately from the rest. The overall set-up of the projector was super easy with its clear and understandable manual. I also like that it came with its own cleaning supplies for when it gets too dirty amongst the inside. The quality of the projector itself was fantastic with the Volume, when at max (100), sounds just like any normal handheld speaker where its not overly obnoxious or annoying. The picture and color quality was really amazing and could conform to either 16:9 or 4:3, which I appreciate.

One of the standout features of this projector is its ease of setup, which can be completed quickly and effortlessly without the need for instructions. I was able to connect the projector to my iphone, pc, and iPad and have it up and running in less than 10 minutes. The user manual was also very helpful, providing detailed instructions for troubleshooting any potential setup issues. The projector also worked perfectly with my Roku stick, and I included a picture as proof. (The picture included is taken with my phone in the dark so the color looks off. The color looks much better in person. You can also adjust the color in the setting menu) The video quality is great and definitely meet the requirement of a home theater. Despite being a projector, the contrast remains strong even in the presence of low ambient light. The audio depends on the original quality of your audio. I used it to watch some music videos and the audio quality did not disappoint me. However, If the built-in speaker does not suit your fancy, connecting the projector to your home speaker via Bluetooth will always be an option. That’s what I choose to do, connecting it to my home theater speaker. The one downside to this projector is its fan noise, and it is the reason I connect the audio to my speaker. I take one star from my review because it can be quite loud, which can be distracting during quieter moments in movies or presentations. In a smaller room with you sitting closer to the projector this could be a problem. I am hoping there is a way this issue can be solved in the future line of products. Overall I would recommend this projector to people who want a simple & quality home theater but dont want to go through too much trouble setting it up. It is probably one of the best options in this price range considering one can set it up very easily and it is compatible to most of mobile devices we use at home.
