I was able to set it up pretty quickly, the app is user friendly and the instructions were very clear. The app is versatile, you can print a great variety of labels. The missing star is for the cost of the tape, is significantly more expensive than other thermal label tapes, feels like the razor-blade business model (or inkjet printers) where you are tempted to buy in on an affordable unit, but end up paying more on operational costs (refills). I know thermal tape is not just paper, it has multiple layers of different materials, but it still feels expensive (at the time this was written, I saw the tape at $12/roll, or $25 the 3-pack)

I LOVE my new label maker. I have been using it for weeks and have been labeling up my whole house and job,, The best part about it, it uses no ink. I had to download an app onto my phone to be able to pick different font sizes and templates. The label maker is pretty light weight and seems like it has a solid make to it.It comes with white labels, but I am looking to upgrade that to different color ones also. I would recommend this if you like to keep things nice and organized.

I cant believe how easy this label maker is to set up and use. To set up, you simply load the label roll (it literally takes a few seconds), turn on the device, and download the app. When you open the app, it will automatically pair your phone with the device. Then you simply type in whatever you want your label to say and print. The printing happens instantaneously! You can also change the size of your font. I noticed that the app also allows you to print things other than font, such as QR codes, shapes, and other graphics. All you will ever need to purchase in the future is labels if you run out. You dont even need ink because this label maker utilizes inkless printing, aka thermal transfer! I didnt even know that was a thing. Very cool.

This label maker has a well supported, up to date app that allows you to choose different fonts, borders, and icons for your labels. The app is free, and most of the content on it is also - but there is a VIP subscription option, too. The quality of the printed labels is okay - Im a graphic designer so I think I lean toward being very critical of print quality. This would likely satisfy most. I will also commend the company for such a quick bluetooth connection process. It finds the bluetooth connection almost instantly in the app, with no re-direction to sign into the devices wifi network on apple devices, like other smart devices may have required. Note that these labels are small, as the label maker is small. This is not the label maker or labels for something like storage totes, but more so for tiny baskets or spice jars. The printer comes with one roll of labels, pre - installed, but with a tab that needs to be removed before printing.

I ordered this off of the Niimbot website when they had Christmas deals where I got the label maker, a case, and I believe 4 rolls of tape (1 25mm wide green , 1 25mm wide yellow, 1 25 wide white, and 1 12mm wide white). I love that I can print emojis, pictures, and practically anything I want as long as it fits on the label and Im okay with it printing in black and white. This is a thermal printer, so no ink required, the labels are waterproof, they stick well to surfaces, and the app is easy to use and has many templates you can use. The only thing I dont love about it is that the label maker doesnt automatically center the label so when you put the roll in you need to fiddle around with it a bit, but I havent needed to print out more than 2 labels doing this, just make sure that the label edge meets up with/covers the black strip that does the thermal printing and it will be centered.

Great little device at first, but then you try to change to some of the nicer fonts and it requires you to set up a VIP account. When you attempt to do so it asks you to bind your device with the printer either by email or phone number. Neither way works here in the states. When you try by email you never get the code and when you try by phone it only allows for numbers with in China or Taiwan. So you can only use the basic set up. And there is no customer service to contact.

I use labels constantly for wiring, and this printer is capable if printing nice labels. Using the printer is easy, and the App is very intuitive and has a lot of printing features to really customize labels. The App allows a nice view of exactly what your print will look like before printing, which helps to save misprints. Loading paper is fairly easy, although lining up that first label without wasting one can be tricky if switching between different label types. The printed labels dont smear, but occasionally print a little faded. I do like the ease and size of this printer since its so small. And as log as the paper is loaded correctly there is not an excessive waste of labels.

This worked great out of the box. However when I switched to the blue cord labels the print head quality dropped significantly to the point where is it unreadable. When I switched back to the white I had the same problem.

This label maker is easy to use and makes very nice labels. The directions are included but I watched a video on youtube (under the name of the brand) and got going in under 5 minutes. You need to download an app on your tablet or phone but it is easy to use. See picture. I made these labels with a few tips from the video and it took less than 2 minutes. The app is intuitive and simple.
