Nintendo New 3DS XL - Pikachu Yellow Edition [Discontinued]

I got this or my nephew his old one broke. I love this on it works really well .It plays all his old games and has worked without any problems. They seem to have fixed all the problems with the old one . He absolutely loves it.

After reading the other reviews, I was scared to get the A.E.U. version, I was actually expecting that version but I was pleasantly surprised when I open the amazon box to see no A.E.U. circle on the box. I checked it out and it was the USA version. I have the 2dsXL Ill be using right now and plan to keep this as a collectors piece since its harder to find. I was planning on using it for a few days just to make sure the battery and everything is working, but since its a USA version, I think it will be easy to replace it if its not working. Anyways, Im happy with what I got, I think the seller has both A.E.U. and USA versions and its just a matter of luck of the draw which one they grab off the self to send you.

I recently bought this as a gift for my daughter. The system worked great (at first), there were no hiccups when setting it up, and it came with everything included on the box. Pictures are attached. The background on the DS is one that my daughter bought, it doesnt come with the system. My only complaint is that the system wont fully charge. It came to us at a half charge, charged fully once, and then has been on life support ever since the battery dropped to one bar. Im only dropping the review down to four stars because, at this time, I dont know whether its a problem with my AC adapter or the actual system, and as far as I know, the system can be fixed for free. I have attached pictures of how the systems lights still look after being charged overnight. When you unplug the system, the battery is so low that the red lights are flashing. I highly recommend purchasing the Amazon 2-year protection that comes with the system, and if you run into a problem similar, go to Nintendo support.

It is said to be a new one. However, the box is not sealed and is obviously opened before. The console looks new, but it just looks like you. I will try it for several days and be aware if anything is broken. So I am not care whether a console is new or used. But if I bought a used one by a new ones price. I think its a cheat.

Its not the end of the world - US games can still be played on an SA console and you can even do system transfers from NA to SA. But the seller intentionally withheld this information - as others have said there is a sticker on the box obscuring the region. And as others have said, this means that for service itll have to be shipped to SA. Wouldve been 5 stars if it had just been advertised as being from the SA, maybe 4 stars if it was from the SA but there was no sticker on the box. But intentionally trying to deceive buyers by placing a sticker on the box is 1 star.

I dont mind the region thing as long as its brand new and I can change the settings. I first got the 3ds back in 2011 when it was brand new so it was long over due to get the new version at some point, and the XL screen size definitely does matter and makes a huge difference. Dont need to post pics considering the ones already on here do it justice. It is way nicer in person, smooth, glossy, overall adorable if youre a pokemon fan. Since Nintendo discontinued this version, I think its worth the money.

As some other people have stated this is the QS serial model. You’ll have to send it to Singapore for warranty support, but that’s not too big of a deal. You can definitely play NA region games and everything functions the same. These are the non-IPS screens so they don’t looks as good from extreme angles, but they work fine and they’re definitely bright enough. The 3D is really cool and I wish more devices used this technology. Love the pikachu design on the shell. No charging cable so make sure you pick one up, as well
