Nintendo New 3DS XL - Pikachu Yellow Edition [Discontinued]

I want to start by mentioning that I did receive a U.A.E./Saudi Arabia/Malaysia/Singapore version, even though that is not what is pictured in the product information. But it does work in the USA. Just make sure you set the region to the United States during setup, and youll still have all your usual access to the store. Also remember it doesnt come with an AC adapter so youll have to get the power cord separately. I transferred my old systems data to the new one using the built-in system transfer process, and I was able to use my same micro SD card as well, just swapping it from my 3DS XL to this New 3DS XL. No problems at all! All my prior purchases were saved and brought to the new system, along with my Nintendo ID and all game data. All of my physical 3DS games play perfectly as well, with less system lag than I saw on the original 3DS XL. The buttons are nice and clicky, and the new second joystick feels soft and rubbery but functions surprisingly well. The design itself is super cute! Not too bright of a yellow and the sketchy sort of design looks very nice. My main complaints are specific to the system itself: No more physical switch to easily turn off WiFi, the position of the stylus is no longer handy to get to (now in front instead of on the right side under your hand), the micro SD card cant be removed without a screwdriver, and the hole to fix a strap onto the system is now in the top/back instead of the front/bottom corners (I used to use mine as a makeshift handle and no longer can). But those arent the fault of the seller. Just the design from Nintendo. :)

I love it. I couldnt pay the price when it very high. So I waited until it went down in price. I have found that if you are thinking of using it on a open NETWORK that you have to agree to the terms for that NETWORK. It will not work. With a private NETWORK you dont have to worry about it. Anyway! The screens are great. I couldnt see that well with the 3ds I have now. I have CP. So it is easier to use for me. I like how the A B Y X buttons have color. The buttons are little bigger than the other 3ds

This purchase along with the games was the best one yet.im definitely satisfied with the console and cant stay away. One thing about it is the battery. Ive noticed that it dies often and I have to charge it almost every day. I play it twice a day for an hour other than that Id definitely would buy again

I received this item and everything appears as it should. However, the stable 3D is not functioning properly. Ive tried to adjust it, but it didnt solve the issue Im having. Its like random bouts of in game astigmatism, which I have in life, making it an easy comparison.

American games do work on this. It’s absolutely adorable, makes me so happy, and I love the difference between the XL and the old 3ds. I upgraded and I can not say it was a bad decision. This fits my cutesy needs with the adorable smug pikachu design.

the amiibo scanner is really convient. otherwise is pretty much just the same old 3ds. The buttons feel more like their in a natural position now though. Like the power button not being on the inside of the system, so yah.

Bought this for our Mom for Mothers Day, loved it so much that I went ahead and bought one for myself. Its absolutely adorable and I love that they updated the 3D feature on it. If youre a fan of Pikachu, this is a must have!

Super happy with my purchase of this 3DS. Bought it years after they were popular and wish I would have done it sooner. Works wonderfully in the states and plays our titles fine. I have been playing Pokemon Ultra Moon, Animal Crossing, and Super Mario 3D Land. I never enjoyed Mario games until I played this. My kids both have switches and still want to use the 3DS. Love the Pikachu edition. Super fun great to have on the plane over mobile games as most of the ones I like require paid internet. Wish there were some decent shooters on the 3DS with campaign stories.
