> 24 hourI have a somewhat large Syrian hamster named Bilbo Baggins, and I got him this hide for Christmas last year. He loves it! He uses one of the chambers as a nest and the other as a hoard to stash his food. Its not his primary nest, as he has a tunnel system hes made himself in his bedding, but when he wants a more conventional hide this thing is perfect. He has no issues at all fitting in it, theres a good amount of space in each chamber, and its a nice sturdy wood. I love that the roof can be easily removed so you can check on your critter and keep it clean. I highly recommend it to other members of his kind.

> 24 hourThe large 3 chamber hide has been perfect for my gerbils. They always arrange one room for sleeping and one for hiding food. They spend a lot of time taking bedding in and out and digging in the corners. Very sturdy. It’s the only thing in the cage they haven’t destroyed with their chewing. I like to wrap some paper around the top to absorb pee. It’s very large, so make sure to measure your cage before purchasing.

> 24 hourOne of the many products I’ve ordered from you guys. I’ve never been disappointed. Keep doing what you’re doing! It’s big enough for a Syrian for sure, although it might be difficult to clean if they pee on the wood. I recommend the cork pads you can get for the roof to avoid that issue

> 24 hourThis hideout helps my son’s hamster feel safe and secure. She loves this thing! She spends nearly all of the daylight hours inside. We also use it as a stand for her niteangel wheel. It’s perfect for our set up. The only downside is when she peed on it it completely ruined the hideout but that’s on me because I knew this could happen and I had planned to paint a hamster-safe enamel on it so that it was resistant to pee. I bought a new hideout and I am waiting for the enamel to arrive so I can paint it before putting a fresh one in her enclosure.

> 24 hourthis is my second time buying this product, and it has to be my favorite hideout ever. both of my hamsters enjoy it (separate cage dw) and they’re always in it. only thing is, after a few months, the pee will make the wood get soggy, so i’d just buy a new one every few months. other than that, it’s great!

> 24 hourWhen we got our hamster in December he did not sleep in an igloo. He preferred to burrow deep and sleep in holes. I put this in his cage and 2 minutes later he was coming out of his hole and going into his new 2-room condo. He loves it!!! I like that the top is removable and that I can place his salad bowl on top. Its a good size and he sleeps in the back room. I appreciated the included sandpaper but it wasnt needed. My hamster uses his wheel as a bathroom so I dont know how well it holds up against pee. A must buy if you have a Syrian.

> 24 hourHonestly, for the price, I think they should seal it so urine does not soak into the wood. Every hamster owner has to take the time and expense to do this before they use the product or else have to throw it away because it cant be cleaned and sanitized properly. If I could buy this design in plastic or acrylic I would. That said my hamsters really seem to enjoy these houses.

> 24 hourMy female Syrian loves this! She has plenty of space in each square and loves making tunnels around the area to hide in. It also allows for me to place some objects on top for her to have more space in the cage, like her wheel.
