> 3 dayMy Syrian hamster loves this! He moved into it after a couple of weeks. I put a layer of Kaytee clay litter balls in a tray at the bottom of his “bedroom” to help mitigate moisture buildup. He built his nest with normal paper bedding overtop the hammy litter layer. There is enough room for him to sit up on his hind paws and groom himself with his front paws— without making him crouch down. I put extra bedding under the “roof entry/exit”- he the uses the roof entry/exit often and pretty adeptly. The structure itself is sturdy. It supports my hamster’s sand bath- a rectangular glass Pyrex filled up with sand (~6lbs). The lid fits perfectly- snug, yet easy to secure.

> 3 dayComes with a small piece of sandpaper and god am I glad! As soon as it went in his cage he started chewing it like crazy!! Good way to grind their teeth down, keep them comfortable and cozy!! Love that the top opens up too!

> 3 dayi didn’t realize how large it was until i saw the box. my hamster loves it however it’s not easy to clean because of the wood. there are still stains i cant get rid of. overall it was a good purchase just a little pricey.

> 3 dayProduct came broken but i dont have time to send it back so it will just have to do. It was cracked down the side where it connects, upsetting when its a 30$ purchase for a hamster and its broken upon arrival. Waste of time, the smaller boxes i bought came fine, maybe this big one is just too much

> 3 dayI got this for my big Syrian hamster. He has sensitive skin so I needed to get safe and smooth wood for him. It’s not made of pine or cedar. The top is removable so it’s easy to take him out when needed. He loves hiding in it and usually leaves it alone in terms of chewing. The top of the wood sometimes gets stained with his pee but that is unavoidable.

> 3 dayI love this little house. We used it so that our dwarf hamster can reach his exercise wheel that we attached to the side of the cage. Its fun to lift the lid to see him curled up inside. He also peeks through the top hole which is super cute. The only downside is it looks like he may have peed on the lid and Im unable to get the stain out of the unfinished wood.

> 3 dayThis hideout helps my son’s hamster feel safe and secure. She loves this thing! She spends nearly all of the daylight hours inside. We also use it as a stand for her niteangel wheel. It’s perfect for our set up. The only downside is when she peed on it it completely ruined the hideout but that’s on me because I knew this could happen and I had planned to paint a hamster-safe enamel on it so that it was resistant to pee. I bought a new hideout and I am waiting for the enamel to arrive so I can paint it before putting a fresh one in her enclosure.

Greater than one weekMy little hammy loves it so much! She likes to go in there and sleep in the morning and come out and eat at night. Its her favorite place! I put her food and water on top of it and it stays very sturdy. Buy it if youre considering getting one for your precious hamster!
