My gerbils (Ronald and McDonald) really like this hide. I originally bought it for my hamster, who scoffed at it and slept in a pile of bedding next to it, presumably as a form of protest. The gerbils love it though, its got plenty of room for them to hide, scurry, cuddle, and play.

My hamster absolutely loves this. She immediately made it her home. The top comes off which makes it easier to clean if your hamster is one to pick a certain area to potty. It is wood though so over time if your hamster gets pee on it, it will soak into the wood and eventually get a bit gross. But I think it can last a while before youd need to get a new one. I like to put my hamsters food and water on top so she doesnt push bedding into it. (I give her water in a bowl). My hamster loves it which makes this worth the buy.

My Syrian hamster really loves this little hide away! Shes got her front room where the door is to clean herself & score the outside in. Then theres her sleeping room next to her front room that she makes her little volcano bed for sleep. Having the lift away roof is convenient for me so I can quietly peek in to make sure shes in there & safe. Perfect size & durable, smooth wood construction. She can even climb on top of the roof to let me know its time for play. We highly recommend this perfect little hide, its great!!

Both my Hamsters LOVE their Niteangel houses. They are “potty-trained”, so thankfully they don’t pee in the corners. In the first chamber corner, I have a small plastic container filled with Living World Easy Scoop Litter, and they go there. The second chamber I fill to the brim with bedding, and they each make their “nests” to their liking. They feel happy, warm and secure. Cleaning is easy, too.

Comes with a small piece of sandpaper and god am I glad! As soon as it went in his cage he started chewing it like crazy!! Good way to grind their teeth down, keep them comfortable and cozy!! Love that the top opens up too!

Hamster absolutely loves this hideaway. The top comes off easily for cleaning and interacting with him. Only downfall is now he is so comfortable I never see him.

First let me say that Niteangel make the best products you can buy for small animals, especially hamsters. Their is absolutely nothing better than their acrylic wheel, it is incredible. I also have two other hides from NA that have been great but unfortunately this one was a bit of a let down. It seems they stopped making the L shaped hides and now just do rectangular ones with a hole on top. If they do still make the L version, I definitely could not find it. The negative, it seems the wood used on the construction of the hide (not including the top which is still very solid) is not the same and a bit thinner than the other version I have with the L shape. I did notice a crack going down the seam that joins two pieces together which is pretty unfortunate. Not a deal breaker since I own other NA products that have been great but I hope in the future they increase the quality of the wood used on this version. I would not be opposed to pay a bit more for better materials. However, as I said before, I still believe they are the best brand for small animal products.

This little wooden house is adorable. My dwarf hammies love it. It is not as easy to clean as their urine some times seeps into the wood and stains it. Its durable and sturdy. I like the fact that I can take the roof off and see them huddled up together sleeping. Great value for the money.
