> 3 dayThis is a fantastic fan to use when modding your dreamcast. I am so pleased with this fan choice. Its super quiet, installs easily (with 3d printed mount) and was simple to rewire to the dreamcast connector.

Greater than one weekThe fan is quieter than a typical cheap fan you can find online. However, it doesnt seem to be as quiet as I would expect for a fan from Noctua especially at this price point. However, this being a 5V fan, it does work quite nicely off USB power (adapter required).

> 3 dayFirst Noctua fan that I planned to use with a Raspberry Pi project. Lasted maybe a day or two before a bearing went out and it started making a horrible grinding noise and then eventually died.

> 3 dayI love these fans and have replaced all of my Pi 4 fans with these. I just wish they made them smaller so I didnt have to make my own case. Ive lost cut a new top to fit these larger fans and it dropped my CPU temp about 10 degrees from the stock Canakit fan, and much quiet.

> 3 dayUsed for an old AMD modder trick. Mounted to the backside of the motherboard blowing on the bottom of the cpu socket to reduce the cpu temps.

28-11-2024I used one of these to replace the noisy fan in my Q-See DVR that I bought at Costco. This one is much quieter but not totally silent. Id say it is probably about half as loud as the original, so it is well worth it. Comes with every imaginable connector to adapt to whatever you have, which is nice. On a Q-See DVR, you will not need any of those adapters.
