> 3 dayEasily dropped the cpu temp by 10-15 degrees C, during stress testing. The only issue I had is the proprietary motherboard of my Dell did not accept the studs needed for the installation. I ended up going to Home Depot to get four 3.0m X 16 screws and using the black spacers supplied with the fan.

> 3 dayI swapped out the default Coolermaster fan from a Hyper TX3 with this Noctua in order to quiet down the PC a bit. Temps seem the same but the noise quality and tone is significantly quieter and smoother. A bit pricey but definitely worth it if (near) silence is desired.

> 3 dayThe fans are quiet and of good quality. The Dell 8940 computer I bought these for controls the fan speed, which means the original Dell fans were quiet too. I wasted to use the Noctua FC-1 to increase the speed of these fans = better cooling. You can’t do this on the Dell system I have. Bummer!

> 3 dayI heard that this manufacturer was the best in their field, but I really didnt think much of it. So often when you hear premium you dismiss it as marketing tat. But truly, as soon as I opened the package it was clear this product is in a league of its own. The fan is made of sturdy plastic, the rubber shock absorbers feel made to last, and the wiring is in a sleeve that feels nice to manipulate. They could have easily had just the fan, and it would justify the cost, but it comes with a few extra wires to accommodate any use you could have for it. And though it isnt related to the product itself, the presentation of packaging was stellar and beautiful. For what is a $15 fan, I am blown away by the quality and consideration of this product, and will stick with Noctua whenever I need a cooling solution.

> 3 dayI put these on an old Cooler Master Hyper N520 CPU cooler from 2013 to replace noisy aging fans, and now its silent.
