Noctua NF-A9 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Brown)

> 3 dayIt runs nicely. Does what I expected it to do. Responds to UEFI adjustments. I used it in my first PC build. I had no idea what I was doing with the rubber mounts and ended up just bolting it on to the rear exhaust with screws. With an industrial 2k rpm 120mm and an rx480 i doubt this is going to be something I notice. Good 4 pin PWM fan, one of two in my system. Been a few days. Runs fine so far.

> 3 dayThe Noctua Nf-A9 92mm fans are the best 92mm fans I have used. They remain quiet even when they are set to 2000RPM. I purchased these fans to replace the fans on my EVGA 770 ACX and these fans are able to keep the temperatures under 80 C without thermal throttling, while also remaining completely silent. After making this purchase I will now always recommend Noctua fans to anyone and will now be the only brand fans I will ever purchase.

> 3 dayThis product is very well made and includes all the parts I would need. I used the silicone mounts to install the fan on my desktop computer, and the extension cable to reach the PWM connector on the other end of the motherboard. During the installation, I quickly realized that those silicone anti-vibration pads must be removed in order to use silicone mounts for installation. For some unknown reason I had to restart twice to have the system up and running and recognize the fan in BIOS settings. Now the fan is running smoothly and so quietly in my computer, I dont even notice its running.

06-04-2025Easily dropped the cpu temp by 10-15 degrees C, during stress testing. The only issue I had is the proprietary motherboard of my Dell did not accept the studs needed for the installation. I ended up going to Home Depot to get four 3.0m X 16 screws and using the black spacers supplied with the fan.
