Noctua NF-A9 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Brown)

> 3 dayI bought this to replace the stock cpu fan in an old dell workstation with an intel xeon. I have it running on full blast all the time and barely hear it. It keeps my cpu temperature under 60 degrees under a 75 watt load. The downside if youre considering using it in a dell computer is the connectors dont match up so you need to buy a dongle (like a smart person would) or use jumper wires (like I do).

> 3 dayNoctua fans are quiet, efficient and typically lower inside case temps. They are fantastic.

> 3 dayCombined with a CRYORIG M9i cooler that replaced the old and dusty stock Intel cooler, this fan serves as an exhaust fan on the rear chassis. At max load with the most intensive transcoding x265 video tasks in Handbrake, the max rpm never exceeds 1300, and at idle and light web browsing, it hovers around 800 rpm. You simply do not hear it or feel any vibrations when its working when touching the case, but you can definitely feel the air coming out the rear exhaust of the case, keeping things nice and cool at 34-40 C and never above 70 C at max load. The difference it has made to the old Asus M11AD is like getting a new computer which operates so much more efficiently, especially with the added SSD boot drive from SK. Next Ill likely upgrade the PSU and Graphics Card in addition to another 92 mm fan mounted on the front of the case to keep things cool.

Greater than one weekIm using this on a mini itx (K39 case) with some overclocking, replacing the original Noctua LH 9i fan. Improved the heat dissipation by a fair amount and its so quiet even at max. speeds. The only thing thats loud is the graphics card fan . Go for it if youre in the market looking for one.
