06-04-2025As with any Noctua product, its excellent. A little lighter than my D14, and I like that you can change the orientation to assist with avoiding other components on the motherboard. The ability to mount the fan (or 2) in low profile or high clearance is nice as well. Running games, the temperature only goes around 15-20C above ambient, which is great! I just wish Noctua would go away from the bland beige colour.

> 3 dayIt is pricey but doesnt compromise on anything. Super easy installation process and they even include a long screwdriver just in case you dont have one that is long enough. Plenty of clearance for ram and top pcie slot. Also the included fan is awesome: high performance with low noise.

> 3 dayI run a Ryzen 9 3950x, and previously was using a darkrock pro which was awesome, but when I had to transfer cases, I needed something that sat lower, and this thing is perfect! I needed the air to move up and sit low, and this did it. CPU rests idle at 39C and averages 40-63C during heavy use. Crazy awesome performance. And the packaging? Youd think I bought a Tesla. It was wrapped with perfection. Love it.

Greater than one weekEDIT 5/7/2023 - Dropping down to 4 stars because it is basically impossible to change some high profile RAM sticks with this cooler attached, especially if it is a AM4 build where you cant change the cooler orientation.

> 3 dayNot good enough for a i9 13900K, as the temperature spike uncomfortably high and the fans keep on spinning too fast with every other effort by the CPU, but very compact and probably great with processors that produce less heat. Go for the NH-D15 if you have a power hungry 13th gen top processor, those are up to the task in a well ventilated case.
