> 3 dayI purchased Norton 360 Deluxe (key card) in April of 2021. Of course I had to give my credit card info like everybody else did even though it was purchased through my Amazon account. No problems with installation although it did definitely noticeably slow my desktop down. Today I got notification Norton was automatically renewing my subscription and charging my credit card $112.86 which is more than 3 times the original price I paid. So, I went to their web site and thought I was cancelling the renewal. I got notification via another email confirming the cancellation. Good thing I thoroughly checked this as yes, they cancelled my auto-renew but it was for the next time (April 2023). I had to go back into the Norton web site and cancel my subscription. In addition, I had to go back again to submit a refund request. Although my original subscription is not technically up until end of this April, I started to get weird spam emails almost immediately. Scary.

> 3 dayI am updating my review - I attempted to install it. They told me from Norton help that I had a bad key (said it was geolocked - I later learned that meant it indicated it was bein used in an inappropriate country). Their techs solution was for me buy the program again (he offered to discount it to 25% of their regular purchase price -I said no, I wasnt going to pay again to get what I already bought). I filed a consumer complaint , and when they got that information, Norton paid a little more attention to my concerns. I was contacted by someone from Norton with more authority, and more knowledge (thats how I learned about geolock and what it meant). Based on their email recommendations, I tried turning off my VPN, but that did not work on my desktop. While I was unable to update my account to the new Norton on my desktop, I ultimately was able to update it on one of my tablets (30 feet away, and connected to the Internet via the same network). Once it updated, I was able to log in to the account on my desktop and install it on the desktop computer. The Antivirus appears to not be slowing my computer down. I have had no hits on the lifelock service yet. As for the password manager, it is a major pain, having to log in and reenter passwords multiple times for it to work. I will not be using that service - it is significantly more cumbersome than my current set up. If it had worked like this at first, I would have given the program a 4-star rating, only knocking off one star for the password manager. But because of the lengths I had to go through to get real support, I knocked off another star, but it is significantly better than the original 1-star.

> 3 dayBeen using Norton for years. Its lean and doesnt slow machine. Maybe not needed with built in Windows security, but I like the way it works, and I get a loot of use from the included password manager.

> 3 dayI have been using Norton for over a decade, to be honest, I have 25 years would and as far I remember I have always been using Norton since I get my first computer in 2000. Never had any insue with a virus and always, when I needed, the Norton support was kind, I recommend this antivirus. Do not fall in some peoples conversation saying that you can get free antivirus, etc... Because to be 100% sure you and your data are protected you must pay for one and Norton is the best, this one you will have access for 5 devices at the same time, so it is a really good deal! Dont miss the promotions that they make! I god this one for $10! (the license is 12 months)

> 3 dayI spent 5 hours today trying to figure out why my laptop could not send emails on Thunderbird anymore. Turns out it was because of Norton 360s VPN, which was turned on. The error message on Thunderbird just said that my outgoing server had timed out, even though it was only a split second since I had hit send. Anyway, lots of time spent looking at my email account settings, talking with my internet provider, searching online for an answer. Norton 360 does give you the option of keeping the VPN turned on but removing certain apps from its coverage. This did not work for me and Thunderbird. I had to turn the VPN completely off. Other than that, Norton seems to be doing its job (Ive used it for several years), but its reminders and suggestions are more frequent and annoying than in years past. My husband prefers BitDefender, but I dont care for that.

> 3 dayThis is confusion. I can’t tell if my computers are fully covered or not. I don’t understand why this process has to be so complicated and trickery involved. IJS! What’s going on?
