NOW L-lysine 500 mg, 250 Capsules

This has done WONDERS for clearing up my skin! Im a 30 y/o female and have been dealing with some very persistent hormonal acne, particularly tiny white bumps/inflamed pores all over my face. Id tried everything for getting rid of it, short of taking oral medications, and had been to the dermatologist twice, which was no help. This is the ONLY thing that made any difference for me and now I want to tell everyone I know about it. Interesting note: at the time I began taking these pills to treat my acne, I was coincidentally in the middle of an outbreak of hand, foot, mouth disease that I had caught from my toddler. This dried all of my uncomfortable lesions from the virus up within a matter of a couple days! As far as for my facial complexion, I noticed an improvement within about 2 weeks.

This maybe a miracle! Ive had cold sores for years and I hate them. I tried otc and prescribed ointments, but they still last for a week and look gross. Im totally sel-conscious. Now that I have kids, Ive become overwhelmed trying to make sure I dont infect them. This led me to explore any alternative I could find on the internet. I tried many things, but L-lysine is the first product that should immediate and remarkable improvements. Now as soon as I feel the tingle, I double the dose. Sores barely become noticeable and last for a day it two!!! Its amazing. I cannot recommend this product enough!

I take two in the morning and have been able to keep away the sicknesses that everyone else seems to be getting.

I was doing research online to see what I could take to help with the canker sores I would constantly get. All the articles pointed to taking L-lysine. Since I have been taking these pills by Now supplements I rarely ever get canker sores anymore. I take two every morning with my breakfast. These pills are not too big so they are easy to swallow. They also do not have any taste it after taste to them. If do get sores in my mouth I will up my dosage for a few days and the sores will quickly heal. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who gets lots of canker sores. Note - my 12 year old daughter also gets canker sores and I have given this to her and it has helped her as well. I have found it is best to take 2 pills daily in order to keep from getting sores.

I think it would be nice if the capsules had a color, even 1 side. Since it seems all the supplements are clear capsules hard to portion them into a pill box and knowing that youve got all you need...lysine looks like the magnesium/potassium and the biotin as well, and even the brain stuff.

I like taking this product. I purchased this mainly for my skin. I read online the benefits of taking lysine for battling against fine lines and wrinkles as well as clearing acne and for cold sores. I thought wow this would be awesome to take since I have developed cystic acne recently. I started taking this almost two weeks ago for 3 times a day and I can see a change in my skin as I do not get as much cystic acne as before and my skin is a little more clear. Im not able to rule out this product as the cause of having less acne issues because I was also taking IntestinePro, Bioschwartz colon cleanser and the Mario Badescu buffering lotion. Maybe all the combinations of medicine and detoxing helped. Im not sure but I will continue taking this product since Lysine has many other benefits. The price is so convenient as it is only $10 and the bottle is huge consisting of 250 capsules. Worth the money.

I take 1500(3) day before I go to sleep along with other Amino Acids. It’s considered an antiviral.
