THE PRODUCT IS FINE, I HAVE USED IT FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND I FIND IT TO BE VERY GOOD. THERE IS A PROBLEM IN GETTING IT. I ORDERED IT , THEY SENT THE WRONG PRODUCT, THEN THEY SENT ME ONLY ONE BOTTLE OF D-3 I HAD TO E MAIL THEM , THEN THEY SENT ONE MORE AND I HAD TO E MAIL THEM AGAIN AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY LAST BOTTLE. I HAVE AT THIS POINT AUGUST 3 2010 NOT HEARD ANYMORE FROM THE COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR WEEKS NOW. SO THE PRODUCT ITSELF IS FINE, GOOD LUCK ON GETTING IT. IN ALL FAIRNESS THOUGH THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM.

Exactly what I wanted

After delivering the news that I was vitamin D deficient (which everyone basically is), my doctor instructed me to start taking 5000 IUs daily. I thought this seemed a bit high, but actually not knowing what an IU was I went with it. After scouring grocery stores, pharmacies, etc, I just couldnt find this dose anywhere. Long story, short - I jumped on Amazon, had the item located in seconds and paid a great price for hundreds of these things! I guess only time will tell, along with more blood work, whether Now Foods vitamin D is up to snuff. Until that time, I will definitely continue to use this brand through Amazon.

After having blood work done I found out that me Vit. D3 level was quite low. I searched for a reputable Vitamin Company that made D3 5000 Iu at a reasonable price, as the doctor prescribed. NOW was the only company that satisfied this and Amazon price was the lowest It is a very small gel pill, easy to swallow. After 6 weeks blood test was redone and my blood level was normal. I was told by my doctor to continue taking this since I have a sun allergy and D3 is essential.

Great product

I took this for more energy and Im pretty sure it worked. However, what I know it worked for was making my teeth stronger. Originally I had a tooth aching probably due to fillings and then I took this vitamin D and it went away. I know it was the vitamin D because it was the only thing I changed in my diet. I didnt add any extra supplements and I continued to stay inside. After a week my teeth felt stronger and no pain. This was an unintended side effect.

I like it and its cheaper on Amazon than in the store.

Easy to swallow and I have a hard time swallowing pills or tablets. Will definitely buy again.
