I was taking 2,000 lu of vitamine D-3 a day(government recommends 400) and I was still barely at the minimum for good health. Amazing how much more we need than were told. I now take 5,000 lu a day, along with vitamin K because I heard that theyre suppose to go together(wish they made a pill with both of them together) and I have to say that I havent been sick in years. Well, other than hay fever that is. With todays emphasis on sunscreen and the dangers of being in the sun, we are seriously Vitamin D starved. Theres a whole laundry list of what Vitamin D does for a body, from preventing diseases to uplifting a persons mood. All this makes sense to me because who doesnt feel better being in the sun? I keep seeing statistics that say that those of us in the northern parts of the world(Seattle) have more diseases like MS. And seasonal mood disorder. Im just trying to keep the odds in my favor by taking Vitamin D-3 and Now Foods is an easy way and cheap way to do it.

On my initial lab my vitamin D level was 7 . My rheumatologist told me he cannot remember ever seeing a vitamin D level that low and recommended I start taking Vitamin D supplements. When I went back for repeat Labs six weeks later my vitamin D level was 20 with just taking 1 5000 units Soft gel every night. He was shocked that they come up that much that quickly. Best of all the brain fog that had me so concerned has cleared up. Apparently brain fog is a side effect of low vitamin D. Evil softballs really dont really have any flavor, theyre easy to swallow, but most importantly they will raise your vitamin D level.

I trust NOW. Use a few of their products. Was on 50,000IU Prescription Vitamin D for my Auto Immune Disease. But I was tired of having to have my hair cut every 2-3 weeks and trim my nails every 3 days (literally). So tried this daily. My lab work Vitamin D levels are still great! The pills are also tiny. So thats a plus. 5 Stars!

As we know, Vitamin D-3 has many health benefits and it is available almost anywhere. Because of that, I am reviewing the company, not the product. This is the most cost efficient product I could find and from a company that had good reviews. I would definitely order this product through this company again. I received the order on time and it was not damaged in any way. After comparing the cost of this product to other similar products at Wal-Mart, Target, etc. I am glad I ordered through Amazon and saved some money. I will be ordering some more as soon as I run out.

I’ve been using this brand Vitamin D for about a month. I get blood work done every 6 months and prior to taking this my levels were at 44 (forget the unit it’s measured in) and on my last labs it was down to 33. I take 5,000 IU/ day on an empty stomach. I’ll be tossing the rest of these and using a different brand! My doctor recommended the “biotech” brand. Not happy with these labs and “Now”, they don’t absorb well. No better test than lab results…

These were recommended by my infectious disease doc friend when I contracted Covid19. They are great! Tiny little gel caps full of of vit D!

    Greater than one week

I was taking this for weeks alongside some other supplements. Then I noticed I started having heart spasm or palpitation, it started with one sudden flutter in between my chest leaning towards the right side a day, then 2 and then it was becoming more that I decided not to count anymore so I wont be freaking out. I have been having migraine, nauseating, dizziness, cramps, weak bones and I have visited the hospital severally with all lab works and scans showing I am healthy. I was on implanon so I had that removed, stock up on Vit D, K, C, B2 (I use this on my migraine days), calcium, magnesium and alive women multi hoping to get my system back to normal only to compound it with the heart flutters. I thought maybe my health is just deteriorating or I must be doing something wrong. Stopped all my supplements for a day, went back to taking C the next day then added the calcium cum magnesium and later the multi. Its been a week now and I have not had the flutters. However, I am putting it down to the D because I started taking the K before D and no such thing happened then, somewhere on the Web also buttress my suspicions about high amount of D and to think this is the synthetic form even makes it worse. I hope this helps someone who might have not figured out yet

I have been taken it as suggested since February (along with Vit K7 to facilitate absorption). My Vit D level was recently re-tested and remains low. In all fairness my physician also placed me on an RX of Vitamin D 50,000 1.25 mg x1 weekly for 6 weeks prior to that and it did not raise my levels either. I experienced no side effects at all, making sure to take it with a fat containing meal in the evening. Good packaging, pills did not stick together.

Take with a good source of vitamin k2 in your diet or supplement routine in order to ensure good absorption.
