Greater than one weekI purchased the 11,000mg grey version. I purchased a 08 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega 6.7L that was smoked in, probably for about a year which is how long the previous owner had it before he got sick and died. My Dad smokes in his 05 Dodge Ram 2500, and has since it was brand new back in 05. I would rate the smell in his truck a 10 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the worst. The smell in my truck was about a 4. Not overpowering. It was most noticeable on warm days when the sun was out. The weakness of the smell compared to my Dads is why I think it was smoked in for a short period of time. After cleaning the interior of the truck, I treated the interior for 4 hours with the Ozone machine. I made sure to make a gasket out of thick cardboard, and attached it to the ozone generator with hot glue. Then I inserted a dryer vent tube in the gasket, and sealed it with hot glue so that it would stay in, and used HVAC tape to seal it off. Then I made a gasket for the window side of the tube. This was a simple 1 x 3 cardboard panel with a 4 hole cut in the middle for the tube to go through into the truck interior. I put the Ozone generator on the roof of the truck, since Ozone is heavier than air. To that end, putting the machine on the roof is better than setting it on a small table outside. The first treatment was 4 hours in duration, on a mostly sunny day. The humidity was around 90% though, which wasnt ideal for generating ozone. The next day, my wife could still smell a very faint wisp of cigarette smell. So I ran the Ozone generator for 6 hours, and the humidity was 35% which was much better than the previous day. The temperature was also warmer, at 70°. After 6 hours of running the Ozone generator, I closed up the truck for about an hour, and then let it air out for a few hours that night. The next day, the cigarette smell was completely gone. There is a faint smell of ozone. I expect that will dissipate in the coming days. So far, the purchase of the Ozone generator has been worth it. The truck smells much better. No more odors. Just the very faint sweet smell of Ozone. I have baking soda containers in the truck right now to take care of the sweet ozone smell, which I expect will be gone in the next 24 hours. But no cigarette smell! Today was a hot sunny day, and the cig smell has not come back.

> 3 dayIt takes about 24 hours to get all the smoke smell out of a car. It does smell like chlorine and soap bubbles for a few days after. But better than smoke.

> 3 dayI used the Enerzen ozone generator to clear my basement of the remnant odors of mice. Let it run for two days in a closed room. Ozone dissipates slowly when contained and quickly in a well ventilated area. When the air finally cleared, I noticed no scents of any kind. It killed the odors, killed the decorative gourds, killed the spiders and insects. This device works wonders. I will let it run for a day ever season to keep my basement fresh.

02-06-2025My home was filled with smoke for hours due to wood stove door leak. I was given a price of$3500 to remediate the smoke odor. There was no other damage. After blowing the smoke with fans (3hours) I put this ozone generator on my kitchen countertop for 4 hours while I was gone to work for three consecutive days. After the third day the odor was pretty much gone. You can still smell a slight smoke odor if you put your nose right in the carpet. I love this machine and it has many other uses!

> 3 dayLike most of the other users I found this unit extremely effective. I used in a number of different areas all with great results. I used it in one slightly unorthodox way as it was noted that it is dangerous to animals etc and they shouldnt be exposed to it. I have a 300 foot storage barn that had various rodents roaming through it. I set the unit out there and ran it for 24 hours. Let it air out for 2 days and my pests apparently took the hint and left for healthier homes as I find no more evidence of them I rated it 3 stars as I have only used it a dozen times in 3 years and it suddenly ceased working. If you have a specific problem like the smoke in homes for resale its a great machine that pays for itself. I have ordered a replacement so I obviously like the results but wanted buyers to be aware it may have a short life as other buyers have noted.

> 3 dayThis thanksgiving we had a grease fire. The smoke smell was in everything and very strong in my home. I bought this and left it on for 2 hours. It left a chlorine smell in my house. There is a hint of smoke smell still lingering. I will be doing this one more time and I will put the machine by my HVAC unit so it can get the smell out of my air ducts. I believe that is where the smoke smell is lingering. Doing this should take care of the smoke smell. Overall I am please with my purchase. It is easy to use. The filter is already in the machine and all I have to do was plug it in and turn the knob. I placed fans throughout my home so air can circulate. It’s very strong once it’s on. The chemical smell is overbearing.

> 3 dayI bought it to take out the stench of a smelly house I had bought. The people that lived there before we’re more about partying and smoking instead of as a home. Some people recommended I use one of these and it definitely took out the smell of smoke inside the home. I don’t know what I would’ve done had this not worked. I couldn’t smell the smoke anymore. It left a neutral smell but with my wax warmers I added my own scent into the home. I asked family that went into the home as soon as I bought it if they could smell the smoke still after and they even said no. I figured I had to get others opinions since I was always in and out and thought maybe I got used to the smell. Definitely worth the price.
