There was a fire in my office. I have had to relocate for the investigation and restoration but all my belongings that were salvageable smelled terrible. I promised my new landlord I would not bring in stuff that smelled like fire but all my files and furniture were sooty and smelly. I ran the ozone generator and the smell was gone! I was surprised at how small, light and easy it was to use but every bit as effective as the larger machines I have used in the past. I was amazed that you can get such an effective piece of equipment for the price.

We needed to take care of a rental property. We do not allow smoking in the units. The past tenant had been heavily smoking in this unit before we took over management. The owner had it painted but did not take the first steps in painting (the use of Kilz or similar primer that helps rid a room of odors) to help rid the smell. We brought in this unit and in one use rid the whole apartment of the smell. Great investment.

First one failed within 3 seconds. Amazon sent replacement and its been working for an hour. We shall see!!!! I will change rating if it works. Update: replacement unit works fine, have 6 hrs on it now with no problem. I would have given 5 star if first unit had not failed.

Excellent product! The previous owners of our home were heavy smokers and they smoked inside the home at that! From day one weve been renovating and we have ripped out all the carpet, painted all the walls, changed all the outlets, new fans and fixtures, etc. After about 6 months of living here though we noticed in the bathrooms (probably because of the steam) and in the garage that we started to smell a little lingering smoke stench. Nothing seemed to work very well with removing that smell and we started getting worried that maybe we had grown accustomed to it, or worse yet that we began to smell like it. We finally decided to purchase this ozone machine just to see if it would make a difference, and the results were immediate! We put it in our garage and shut the door, along with 2 other doors in the laundry room. Even with all 3 doors shut, we could still smell the ozone fresh smell come all the way up to our second story in the complete opposite side of the house. Within 30 minutes our entire house (and the particular trouble areas) were drastically better. Our house is a 2 story, 2400 square foot house, and this has hit it all no matter where we place it. For the price and quality, i cant recommend it enough. If you are needing to eliminate bad odors, get it!

This thing worked great while it did. I didnt get many uses out of it before having some problems with it. Still works but on a small scale now.

Recently moved into a rental townhome sight unseen. Previous tenants were hardcore smokers. It was clear that the owners had scrambled to paint over everything and put in new carpet/appliances in order to get new tenants in. Several areas were very unclean and the whole place wreaked of smoke. After a thorough cleaning only the smoke/musty odor remained. We put the ozone generator at the furthest air intake and set the timer for 3 hours. After coming back several hours after it had finished there was a significant improvement. The musty smoke odor was still noticeable in a few rooms especially if you were looking for it. Granted this is a tiny unit and we were running it to cleanse a 900 sqft home. It’s been a few days since running it and I can say that the effect has not worn off. In order to make sure the odor is gone permanently I have started locking the machine inside of individual rooms to really concentrate the ozone. If you are trying to get rid of a musty and/or smoke odor I would recommend using this machine in individual rooms for maximum effect. It would also be wise to shut all of your a/c vents and try to concentrate the ozone in your hvac system to clean the smell and kill off bacteria. 10/10 would buy this again and have recommended it to friends/family.

So apparently this thing is supposed to make a buzzing noise. The first one that I sent simply sounded like a small computer fan running. I left it in my vehicle for about an hour and didnt really notice much difference. The timer also appeared to be stuck on hold. I could deal with the timer stuck on hold, but I really wasnt too impressed with this thing. I decided to return it and have another sent out. I received the replacement yesterday and WOW what a difference. IT has a high pitched buzzing noise with the fan sound and a blue looking light inside of the housing. I left it in the vehicle for about 45 minutes, let it air out. Needless to say Im pretty impressed. The vehicle smells fresh and crisp. A quick wipe down of everything and Im all set. This ended up being a good purchase; Amazon made it right. Thank you!

Bought this unit to eliminate bad odor for a recently purchased car which had water coming inside for over a year. Used this machine once for 45 minutes, let the car air for about an hour and the smell is totally gone. Highly Recommended

I had a smell inside my house that had been caused by a plumbing vent ending in my attic... Got that fixed by extending the pipe through the roof. Although the problem was corrected, the smell still remained trapped in the house... I set the ozone generator for 1 hour, got out of the house and came back 2 hours later. OMG what a difference, the smell was completely gone! It has been 3 days now and the smell has not returned! This is beyond my expectations as I was expecting to have the ozone generator working for many days before seeing a difference... I definitely recommend this machine, it works great !!!
