> 3 dayIm impressed, well i guess the science behind ozone works almost too well. You could instantly smell the bleachy ozone when turned on. Bought the 9000mg unit .Although its not stating that this unit produces 9000mg/hour of ozone anywhere in the package yet without any means of measuring it, I have no idea how much ozone this compact (yes, its smaller than I imagined)machine actually produces. But the good thing is it certainly produces enough to get the job done. Used it a few times in the kitchen to eliminate the cooking oder 10-15 minutes max is all you need to get rid of the cooking oder in my case. Just make sure you go nowhere near the unit when its running and vent the place after treatment for at least 30 minutes before entering since the ozone is not a pleasant smell gas and is definitely not healthy at all for animals and human. The timer is a must for this type of equipment and this particular one can only be described as a at least it has one. Its working at the moment but seems like the timer may be broken fairly quickly and not satisfying at all to use it. Note that the warranty booklet came with the unit clearly states 6 years insteed of 1 year in the amazon description. Stay tuned, I will update the review if anything came up :) hope not I really like it.

> 3 dayOk so I bought the Enerzen O-888 as a last effort to remove the cat spray odor from my basement. I had already cleaned every square inch of the vinyl flooring with enzymatic cleanser first-still smelled it, then pine soil-still smelled it, then alcohol & vinegar-still there, and then finally I used straight Chlorine bleach (scented version) and left it full strength and covered it with plastic bags and left it over night and then finally did a cursory one over mop to remove any residue. This actually worked to clear about 80% of the smell…but, since I have a sensitive nose and refuse to have to live in a home that smells like cat pee, 80% wasn’t enough. I felt like after a day or two with fluctuating humidity, the smell might just creep back into full swing. I remembered that one of my tenants smoked in one if our new rentals and I was not able to clear the smell with regular cleaning so I called a local company for help. They brought in an Ozone machine and left it running for 24 hours, afterwards, though there was a strong ozone odor, the cigarette smell was gone and stayed gone to this day. After a final mop and a fragrances plug in, it was ready to lease and I never got any complaints from the new tenants. That said…I found this machine and bought it based off customer reviews. A couple days ago I turned it on for 3 hours and then aired it out. After a bit, I could still faintly smell urine, so the next day I mopped the entire area again and left the machine on for 6 hours but did not air out the basement afterwards. I left the whole apartment sealed up through the night. This morning I went down…NO SMELL WHATSOEVER! Except the smell that ozone creates which id rather have than cat pee! I opened up the windows in all the rooms thinking that afterwards I’d probably smell the pee again, but it’s gone! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yes, I did have to find and eliminate all the actual pee spots before using this machine, but once the source was removed, all that was left was the nasty smell in the air, fabrics, drywall, ac vents…etc..this machine took care of that. So don’t expect it to remove the odor of a pee puddle that has not been wiped up or pee in left unwashed from fabric, it’s not going to work that way. But it does work fabulously if you do your part of the pre-clean. Can’t wait to use it in my apartments after the tenants leave just so everything smells fresh and the remnants of the previous tenant’s spicy foods are not lingering in the air, ac ducts and fabrics! Yes! I definitely recommend!

> 3 dayThe product looks professionally engineered, if plain ( i.e., without fancy gimmickry). Likely still manufactured here in the US. Worked as it should. When a technical problem did come up shortly after the warranty expiration, they still made good, and actually replaced it with a new unit. The response and correction were a refreshing experience: (a) getting an actual company person - not a call center. (b) The person was clearly knowledgeable, had adequate authority, and great people skills. Five stars - Excellent product, and customer/user experience.

> 3 dayI have used this machine on my RV a couple of times and it gives a clean smell after airing out for a bit. Cannot answer to how well it sterilizes but it does smell clean, although it never smelled bad either before using, but it does give a smell of freshness after using this. I used it also in my truck and car and both have a refreshingly clean smell afterwards. Waiting to do my home when everyone is gone including my dog for at least a half day to a day and that should be next week to do the same on my home. Although my home doesnt have any foul odors, I do like the fresh smell after using this in the other places I have used it in. I bought the larger 11,000mg version and m son has the smaller version and I noticed no difference in how it performed and cannot tell where mine is any better than the smaller one, although it shows on the specs that mine is 100 watts and my sons is around 60 watts during use, so it should do more in larger locations, but cannot really tell the difference and the generator casing is similar in size. Still, it appears to be working just fine.

> 3 dayI have a rental property. Last tenants had 3 dogs, 3 cats and cooked with unidentifiable spices, but the combination was horrible and even with windows open for days and days of cleaning - I could NOT get rid of the smell. My friend offered me the use of her machine, I was skeptical but had nothing to lose. I set the unit off in every room in the house. It was like walking into fresh air afterwards!!! I was so impressed with this machine, I bought my own. Hands down the best investment out there to eliminate odor.

Greater than one weekThere was a fire in my office. I have had to relocate for the investigation and restoration but all my belongings that were salvageable smelled terrible. I promised my new landlord I would not bring in stuff that smelled like fire but all my files and furniture were sooty and smelly. I ran the ozone generator and the smell was gone! I was surprised at how small, light and easy it was to use but every bit as effective as the larger machines I have used in the past. I was amazed that you can get such an effective piece of equipment for the price.

> 3 dayI had a really small barebones single plate ozone generator... it did the job but this one is so more convenient with a fan built-in and timer etc. Been working great on my apartment and vehicle. Using this at least 4 times a month in various duties and am happy with the results and super ease of use.

> 3 dayNo problems after three years of ownership. Most of the complaints I’ve seen in Amazon reviews appear to be related to improper use or unreasonable expectations. I’ve used it to remove various odors from a used truck that was previously owned by a smoker, to mildew/mold, to pet odors, to a backed up sewage tank. If the build quality isn’t industrial/professional I can’t imagine what is. Very well built, steel construction and the plastic bits are solid not flimsy. After three years I’ve come nowhere close to the 5000hr. lifespan of the plate, so I don’t know if it really lasts 5k hours. @ 5k hrs you could run this two hours a day, every day, for 6 years and 10 months. The only gripe I have is the timer. I wish it could run longer that 2 hours.
