> 3 dayWe have an old commercial building with a damp basement from when a heavy rain leaks in through the ground, so the odor is generally musty. We run multiple dehumidifiers which greatly helps on the moisture content, but not the smell. I originally bought 2 of these units but after using one for a couple of overnight cleanings, I returned the second one because one unit does the job. I set the unit to run for an hour or two in a basement room when we leave for the night. The next morning there may be a slight ozone odor in the first floor, but it usually dissipates by the end of the day. There are two rooms that I would say had stubborn odors. This unit has been remarkable at making a difference in those rooms and the entire basement environment has been greatly enhanced. I now use the unit on a maintenance schedule of two to three nights a week for 60 to 90 minutes run time. This unit puts out a LOT of ozone and you will notice it immediately after it starts running. The amount of ozone requires the space to be unoccupied when running. I highly recommend this unit.

> 3 daySo far so good, it seems to be getting rid of the mold and mildew odors, in my basement and my AC ducts, but it does leave a very unusual, but more palatable odor, for quite some time after running it? I recommend this #888 unit, over the others because for an extra 20 bucks, you get 50% more coverage according to their specs. Hopefully they really are working on straightening out their specs on their Amazon page, as they are very confusing and really only relate to the #777 model! They say they have updated the timer switch on all of their models, which was a major negative comment prevalent throughout the reviews. However, I dont really think the hold option that they put on every model but #888, is a good idea! I can just see some idiot going on vacation for a week and leaving it on for a week and burning the house down? PS: make sure you evacuate the house for at least an hour longer than you set the timer for, even if you are running it in the basement and are upstairs!

> 3 dayI didnt see may reviews using it for mold, but decided to give it a shot. My attic (flat roof, ave height 21 with 15 fiberglass batt insulation) had bad mold smell from some roof leaks. The smell infiltrated into my 3rd floor and ductwork. Mold remediators said they had to take several air samples costing $800 before theyd give me an estimate. The usual solution was to rip down sheetrock and insulation, likely even in walls, and maybe rip out carpet and discard furniture. They they would treat attic, walls, etc. using air cleaners, hazmat suits, etc. Ach!! I ran the generator for 3 hr in each of 4 places in the attic, raising above insulation (ozone is heavier than air so place generator high). After the first one, the air smelled normal. I ran in the other 3 attic spots and in all the rooms on the 3rd floor. I turned off the AC so it wouldnt infiltrate the house, until the final treatment (to get the ducts). Its been about 2 weeks and the attic still smells fresh. It seems like the ozone goes thru painted sheetrock and down framing to some extent, based on odor (it smells). I tried to be careful about breathing ozone and left the house when it smelled strong. I did have a scratchy throat afterwards. Im anxious to see if the mold was killed or if it grows back over time. Ill try to write an update in a month or so to say whether it did. The generator instructions dont say much about using it. I did a lot of research online to find out how. Ozone will kill mold if concentration is high enough for long enough. Ozone may damage plastic coating on wiring, plants, organic material like rubber (gaskets?) and oxidize metal. A corrosive expert told me he didnt think it would harm plastic flexduct. I dont see any damage on anything so far.

> 3 dayWOW! This is one of the best things I have bought in the last few years. This size is overkill for the 20x15ft room I have used this in. But I will be using this in larger rooms and letting others try this out. I am kicking myself for not buying one sooner! For the last two days I have run this ozone machine in a small 20x15ft room for 2 hours each day. It got rid of all background odors. This room has no mold. This unit imparted a nice sweet ozone smell to the room. Now I plan to run this 60 minutes in this room, running it every other day or twice a week. Just for the fresh clean feeling it gives this room. Running this for two hours... I swear the rooms air looked a bit cloudy. Perhaps from the ozone neutralizing/reacting with some harmful stuff in the room. Baddies hidden in curtains, the beds, the sheets and covers and the clothing closet that I left the door wide open. After shutting this off and letting in fresh air via a window fan, the room had a pleasant and sweet, faint ozone smell for 6 hours. The residual ozone was not at any harmful levels. CONCLUSION: This powerful ozone generator is not just for moldy rooms. This high yield ozone machine is great for freshening up a room.

> 3 dayI used the Enerzen ozone generator to clear my basement of the remnant odors of mice. Let it run for two days in a closed room. Ozone dissipates slowly when contained and quickly in a well ventilated area. When the air finally cleared, I noticed no scents of any kind. It killed the odors, killed the decorative gourds, killed the spiders and insects. This device works wonders. I will let it run for a day ever season to keep my basement fresh.

> 3 dayThis thanksgiving we had a grease fire. The smoke smell was in everything and very strong in my home. I bought this and left it on for 2 hours. It left a chlorine smell in my house. There is a hint of smoke smell still lingering. I will be doing this one more time and I will put the machine by my HVAC unit so it can get the smell out of my air ducts. I believe that is where the smoke smell is lingering. Doing this should take care of the smoke smell. Overall I am please with my purchase. It is easy to use. The filter is already in the machine and all I have to do was plug it in and turn the knob. I placed fans throughout my home so air can circulate. It’s very strong once it’s on. The chemical smell is overbearing.

> 3 dayThe product I’m reviewing is the 11,000mg ozone generator. I have to say it is fantastic and does a great job. My home has never had a cleaner smell to it. I have had it for a little over 3 weeks and use it on a regular basis. I have noticed it’s helped with removing allergens I’m my place. I had read a few negative reviews so I was unsure about buying it but I’m glad I did. I will give 2 important points 1. Don’t be in the house when it is in use O3 (ozone) is a disinfectant gas created through an electrical process. It does occur in nature, if you are ever close to a lightning strike you notice a very clean smell, that’s ozone gas. 2. If it is not on or plugged in it DOES NOT produce ozone.
