> 24 hourThis should be my second Optoma projector. My first one I bought 6+ years ago and it is still working perfectly. I ended up returning this product, since it had a dust spot inside the lens. I wouldnt have returned it otherwise. Although it was just barely noticeable, this product is too expensive to have such issue when new. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I would rather pay $10 more and have them doing better factory QA or being more careful when assembling the lens to avoid such inconvenience. Cons: A bit noisy (DH1011 is quieter). QA issues (dust spot inside the lens). Pros: Great image quality. Very bright. Besides that dust spot, the product seemed good.

> 24 hourOwned it not even a year and it has a dead pixel. Now there’s a bright white dot in the middle of everything. Absolutely ruins watching anything on it. It’s like having a white laser pointer pointed at the screen.

> 24 hourI was debating between the hd146 and this projector. I definitely recommend this projector over the hd146. The HDR is amazing on it.

> 24 hourAfter upgrading from my 6 year old viewsonic projector, only because a lot of the parts are discontinued I figured I’d try something new and this was the best priced unit for all my needs .. I play/ watch moves on my projectors so the picture has to be perfect which it is, love the way it looks and the way the remote lights up .. my only complaint would be that it runs really hot but I mounted a box fan with a filter and on it and problem solved

> 24 hourI LOVED my Benq. But this Optoma projector definitely has less rainbow effect than the similarly featured Benq projector.

> 24 hourI am not sure if i got a defective unit or simply that is a bad product. I can only base my review on my experience. I got this new projector to replace my old unit. Short to realize that my old unit with way lower specs perform 10 times better. This is why i returned on the spot. Looking for a better option. Hope i am not basing my review on no a simple bad unit

> 24 hourPicture quality: good User Interface: Horrible The menu only last for seven seconds which would be ok if I didnt have to read everything backwards. I unfortunately mounted to ceiling thinking I could easily invert screen. Thirty minutes later with projector on ladder and words reading left to right did I finally invert picture.

> 24 hourThis is my second and probably last Optima projector. #1 was good, this one HD28HDR is a dud! The fan in it is super LOUD (terrible whining noise.... not normal). The image has ghosting on it as well. If this is where optima has gone with their quality, skip it. Save your money and buy something else as the warranty on a device should be longer than 12 months and the device should run longer than that too....... 1 out of 5 stars, would not recommend.
