> 3 dayThis Optoma replaced our Epson HC 1060 and what a difference! This thing has a great picture for the price point and it’s super bright. Daytime, windows open and still clearly see the picture. And get this, it’s 128” from 13.3’ away on a temporary screen ($20), not even a legitimate projector screen and it still looks good! Only thing it’s missing that I wish it had is horizontal keystone, I had to move my currently installed ceiling mount to get the picture to look proportionate. Overall, I strongly recommend this projector for the price point.

> 3 dayGreat Value for picture quality. however the UI for menu is very archaic. one of the reasons i bought this projector was for the HDMI CEC, but this projectors CEC was compatible with Roku Streambar Pros HDMI ARC. This unit also only has a 3.5 stereo jackpot audio output. for $600 i would expect to have at least an optical output or 12v trigger output.

> 3 dayHad virtually no settings for adjusting the picture angle. No vertical lense shift, no corner correction. These should be basic standard features in any projector over $500. Picture was ok. Dont buy this. I tried to go mid-tier price range and wasted my time and ended up splurging on a $1500 one to find one that had the most basic inputs and screen adjustment settings... best of luck to you in your search

> 3 dayI own a BenQ HT2050 too. This new Optoma is terrible! Remote doesnt work. Colors are wildly inaccurate. Overall the picture quality doesnt hold a stick against my BenQ. This is worth maybe $200. Horrible projector.

> 3 dayHad it for a month so far and very pleased, far better than the dated one I replaced. Bolted right up to old universal mount. I dont use the volume on it, so cant comment on that. As far as fan noise, we dont notice it when watching movies/playing games. Only downside: mine turned on without giving option for language, took me a while to figure out how to get it back to English...that and no directions in the box is really annoying...will update later if needs be.

Greater than one weekIts been a pretty solid unit up until the last couple of months. Fan noise is a little high under certain operation modes, but the biggest issue I have is dead pixels. It started out as a few but has progressed steadily over the last month or two to the point where its very noticeable. Im sure I have no more warranty coverage at this point, so Im guessing Ill be replacing it soon.

> 3 dayOwned this now for about 1.5 years. Picture quality is Amazing. Watched the 2022 Winter Olympics on this and felt like I was there. Xbox gaming is incredible. Streaming quality is awesome. You dont need to spend any more money on something more expensive. Product is not large or heavy so its easy to work with. I have mine setup with a ceiling amount with a tab tension 100 screen in my bonus room above garage. Enjoy.

> 3 dayIve had this projector for a month and its been overall amazing. For those on the fence about buying this, go ahead and get it!! Coming from a 65 inch 4k tv, this is a huge upgrade in my opinion. Im running 135 inch screen and that movie theater feel is amazing! The HDR DOES make the picture look better, even though hdr isnt the greatest on projectors. Colors look more saturated and pop more.
