> 24 hourThis was the perfect replacement SSD for my old MacBook, and the price was great. I loved that I didn’t have to use adaptors to get the drive to fit the proprietary Mac SSD connector.

> 24 hourThe unit came with a link for video instructions which made the install easy as cake. Once I installed it, I used Super Duper to transfer the files from the old harddrive. Flawless.

> 24 hourI installed this in a 2012 27” iMac. Once you gain access to the drive it pops right in. Of course you need an adapter to use with it, but that is a function of Apple design. It’s been in place for a few months now and I am very pleased with it so far. I went from 256Gb to 1Tb and won’t look back.

> 24 hourThe 250GB SSD in my MacBook Pro had become a seriously-limiting factor. I really needed about 1TB. This kit solved that problem. Installation of the new SSD in the MacBook Pro was straightforward with all the necessary tools and instructions supplied. No difficulty with the installation. The only problem I ran into was that the old SSD did not make good contact with the connector in the enclosure provided. Initially my MacBook Pro did not see the old SSD as an external drive (used to transfer all your old data to the Mac after the new disk is initialized). I found that pressing lightly on the SSD card in the enclosure solved the problem. A couple of strips of tape used as thin spacers between the SSD and the top of the enclosure solved the problem. Were it not for this one small glitch, I would have given this kit 5 stars. Regardless, this is an excellent value and has allowed me to put off purchasing another laptop for another year or so.
