> 3 dayI purchased the 500gb ssd to replace the failed Apple ssd in my early 2013 MacBook Pro. The install was very easy with only the cover screws to remove on the bottom plate and 1 holding the ssd chip. I’ve been using this now for about 2 weeks and have not had any issues. I installed the latest os (Catalina) which seems to be running smoothly with no significant lag or slowness. The price is a little more then other comparable items but after researching and reading many reviews it seems like it was a good choice. My MacBook Pro has been revived and should get me a few more years of use.

> 3 dayCompré el disco con cierto recelo. Si bien es fácil de instalar, el desatornillador de 6 no coincidía con los tornillos del computador (afortunadamente tenía uno en mi casa). Hasta ahora el disco duro funciona perfecto y aumenté la capacidad del computador de 256 GB a 1 TB. Totalmente recomendado (si tienes los desatornilladores correctos)

> 3 dayExtend usability of my 2012 MacBook Pro 15 from standard 256GB SSD to 1 TB. SSD This 1TB SSD is also much faster than original by Apple. Every owner of 2012 Macbook Pro (SSD Based model only) should upgrade. Too bad Apple stops making sensible machine since 2012 so any newer Macbook Pros are struck with whatever they originally purchased with impossible upgrade path. Maybe that will change in 2020 as R&D would have new leadership. If Apple could devise new sensible Macbook Pro concept. A bless and wait for new real revolution, which would be just thicker, a bit heavier but completely practical, with reliable keyboard and upgradable. A real PRO notebook. Until then, upgrading 2012 MacBook Pro is the best deal youll ever get.

> 3 dayThe 250GB SSD in my MacBook Pro had become a seriously-limiting factor. I really needed about 1TB. This kit solved that problem. Installation of the new SSD in the MacBook Pro was straightforward with all the necessary tools and instructions supplied. No difficulty with the installation. The only problem I ran into was that the old SSD did not make good contact with the connector in the enclosure provided. Initially my MacBook Pro did not see the old SSD as an external drive (used to transfer all your old data to the Mac after the new disk is initialized). I found that pressing lightly on the SSD card in the enclosure solved the problem. A couple of strips of tape used as thin spacers between the SSD and the top of the enclosure solved the problem. Were it not for this one small glitch, I would have given this kit 5 stars. Regardless, this is an excellent value and has allowed me to put off purchasing another laptop for another year or so.

> 3 dayMy computer came with 256GB SSD and I ran out of space. I replaced it with this 1TB drive and it was supper easy to install. I didnt expect to see such a speed increase which has given the computer a new life.

> 3 dayDrive was easy to install in a 2012 MacBook Pro. So far it has been working like a champ and gave me the extra hard drive space I needed. This should extend the use of this MacBook for a couple more years. So far Im very pleased.

> 3 daySince apple makes proprietary connections, this works great without need of adapter.
