> 3 dayMade this purchase paying a premium for a company that prides itself on Mac. I’ve built PCs, so I should be able to do a Mac SSD hard drive update. However, when I finally got my info transferred. It’s not comparable to upgrade to BIG SUR. Mac flags the drive as a incomparable third party, they had a make shift work around in the past but it doesn’t work with new IOS. Drive also gets really hot, for a MacBook Air the hard drive is right on the back case and you can feel the heat on you lap. Poor support with SSD drive. They brag on comparability and sell a premium. However, it says third party device not comparable. Wait times are hours long and tech team tried to find ways to deny providing service stringing you along to give up. AVOID THIS SELLER !! Finally, one screw did not fit on the external SSD, so I asked for a replacement and they stalled and said I they could not help, with typical excuses.

> 3 dayNow my 2013 MacBook Pro is much faster. It was easy to install but I would have liked a little more information on how to do the data transfer from my old drive to the new one. The case for the old drive is very nice. I use that drive as a Photoshop scratch disk. Im very happy.

> 3 daySince installing I have had a lot of crashing. Something I have never had before. While I cannot contribute this drive to the problem, I have since been told by a MAC shop that these are not a quality drive.

> 3 dayI have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro. For several years, Ive been frustrated because it only had a 250GB hard drive and I was getting tired of running out of space. I was all set to purchase a new MacBook for $3,000, but decided to buy this hard drive upgrade instead. I watched the sellers video about installation and it was quite easy. Now, my MB Pro boots up faster and I dont worry so much about storage. CAUTION: make sure you put the screws on the back of the laptop into the same holes they were originally in; they are different lengths.
