> 24 hourTotally unusable. All photos have insane streaks. Tried cleaning both manually and with compressed air. Nothing helped.

> 24 hourThis scanner worked fine for the first couple of pictures and then it put lines on every photo even after we cleaned it. Too bad it looked like such a great deal.

> 24 hourThese work great until you get a smudge... then youll have to throw it away. You get them cheap online because they were discontinued as high defective rate I suppose.

> 24 hourWhen I saw this product it struck me as a wonderful item. I could rapidly scan all of my old photos and not take days doing it. I read reviews where people reported white lines appearing on the scanned photos. Well, mine did have them. There was no rhyme or reason to it either. I could scan a photo and not have any lines in it, then scan it again and have 1 line, 4 lines. I never knew what it was going to do. I did follow the instructions and calibrated the device, cleaned it, etc. The lines still showed up. Seeing it for myself I find the lines to be unacceptable. I wanted to digitize my old photos to keep them from wear and signs of age. Not scan them and have artifacts in the finished product that werent there when I started. The time saved using this device compared to using a flatbed scanner for photos is not enough to overlook this fault.

> 24 hourIt was reasonably priced, fast shipping. This scanner is so easy to use, you dont even need to have it hooked up to a computer to scan photos, you can scan them, it saves them on the SD card (one is included) and you can either put the SD card in your computer or take it to whatever store has a reader (if you want your photos printed) or plug it into your computer and transfer the files. And because you dont have to attach it to a computer to work, you can use it anywhere with an electrical outlet! The photo does need to be flat and occasionally slips, but on ones that slip I found that keeping a finger with slight pressure on the end of the photo helps guide it through (I have been scanning old photos in to share with family after we lost my Mother) It saves so much time over a traditional desktop scanner, in just about 2 hours I scanned over 150 photos, that is with taking breaks and having to take the photos out of an album and put them back in.

> 24 hourI have had 4 of these units in my possession now, and none of them performed without lines through the images. It is a shame, because it is flawless in every other way. The concept is so solid that, if it performed well, there would be one in every household at the price they are offering it at. I would pay three times as much for it if it worked. I would say I get maybe 25% good scanned images, the rest have lines through them. They show up at different spots on the same image, or sometimes not at all, so it doesnt seem to be related to the print. [...] Its such a great concept that I gave it two stars even though it doesnt seem to work. Such a shame, with a working product and a little bit of advertising they could sell millions of them.
