it works as advertised, it will rip through a stack of snapshots as fast as you can feed it, way faster than a flatbed scanner. no complaints, if you have old pics to scan , this is the ticket. quality is just fine for digital albums, web albums, archiving to dvd to watch on tv, dunno about enlargements, but if you want fast and easy, this is it.

This is a pretty neat little gadget. Pretty much just follow the directions, then plug the power in. To scan, you just put the photo in, it takes it away. Converts it right to Jpg on the memory card. And, if you dont have a memory card reader you can plug it into the computer and download it directly. Only downside is a technical limitation - you cant scan and pull pictures off the card at the same time (probably a memory card limitation). Otherwise its a pretty neat gadget.

Price was right and quality was sufficient for my scanning needs. I was very pleased with the quality of the equipment.

I have scanned about 200 pics so far. Yes, I can see fine lines in some of the photos, but I do not worry about it. I have many hundreds of pics to scan and just want to capture the image and not keep piles of photo albums. I am VERY happy with this product. I could not find another one that was so affordable, fast and stand-alone. I am very satisfied and am giving empty photo albums to the Salvation Army.

I owned a flatbed scanner that had a photo feeder attachment and it did the same thing. When I talked to HP they sent me two whole new feeders over a 6 month period of time. They said that the problem was that ANY spec of dust that gets on the photo or in the feeder will leave a scratch mark all the way down the length of the photo. They did not have a fix for this. Since I dont work in a 100,000 clean room, this technology is not for me. I gave this one a shot and it did the exact same thing. I cant believe that they put a product like this on the market knowing all to well that it is a flawed bit of technology. It is criminal in my opinion.

The scanned pictures had several lines The machine was defective. I am not happy with this item.

This scanner leaves lines on the picture. At times the photo will hesitate to completely go through the scanner. It will not scan Polaroid pictures because they are too thick.

...perhaps down the road it will be improved? I, too, got the white lines in spite of trying to fix it. I also found the pictures not as good as the original. I wish it would take 5x7 photos and larger. An 8x10 and smaller would be perfect! This little cellophane cover you have to put your picture in is a royal pain. It attracts dust and smudges too quickly. I think I am going to go back to a regular scanner... sad.

Very EZ to get back all old memory from all photos on my draw . I love it good product .
