Park Tool FR-5.2GT Cassette Lockring with Tool 12mm Pin

This tool works perfectly and is just what you would expect from Park.

Does as its supposed to and the color is very nice.

Is it really necessary? I did use the one with the QR pin, and liked it, but also use the one without the pin and dont have much of a problem using it. But whatever. I did buy the one with the QR pin, so it looks like Ill be ordering this one too. *shrug* But have you seen their pizza cutter?

If you want the best bike tools on the market get you park tools. I work on bikes for a living and they are the best!!...

I bought this cassette lock ring tool since my older tool didnt have clearance for the axle on the newer thru-axle hubs. The FR-5.2GT has plenty of clearance and fully engaged the cassette lock ring. The center pin didnt seem necessary to line up the tool, but didnt cause any problems either.

Easy to use. The delivery was quick.

Nice lock ring tool for 12mm thru axles. Highly recommended for those with disc brakes. Holds tight and steady.

How did I ever get by without one of these?

Works like a charm for the newer Shimano centerlock disc brakes and rear axle with thru-axle applications.
