PHILIPS Fidelio X2HR Over-Ear Open-Air Headphone 50mm Drivers- Black

Excellent headphones sound is good hooked up to a phone but you can tell they wish to be supplied more power, with the topping nx1 same thing though hooked up to a shiit audio magni 3 the music becomes much more defined and prominent. Cable is plenty long if not too long, anyway best pair of headphones I have purchased all I have to compare to it are the dt 770 beyerdynamic but they cant compare much due to being closed back.

I’ve been using gaming headsets for awhile and wanted to dwell more towards the audiophile realm of headsets cause I kept missing small cues in games etc. I’ve watched video after video and red different articles etc about entry level sets these and the shp9500 kept coming up I now fully understand why. The detail and sound stage is way greater then I expected, they do have sound leakage which I actually like and due to the open back nature of the cans. I have a larger head and they fit perfect yes they’re heavier then normal but I don’t feel the weight they feel like my arctis 7 headphones more or less. Right now I’m just driving the headphones with my motherboard a x370 taichi asrock and they get louder then I need, I will be using a dac soon so I’ll update the review when that time comes. So long story short I’ve used steelseries arctis 5/7, astros a40tr with dac amp, Corsair virtuoso se and these by far way far are way better. Ps music sounds insane on these as well.

Been using these for a little over a month now. Youll need a mix amp or sound card in your PC if you want to pump the proper amount of power to them, but MAN is it worth it. The headband that secures it is a big interest point for me, no adjusting needed! Very snug hold without hurting your ears or slipping off your head. Bass Sounds CRISP and has great punch.

Ok so, comparing to my ad500x. The X2HRs sound has some of the best clarity Ive heard in a while, not the widest soundstage but super clear. The best way to describe these headphones is like watching an imax movie and youre IN the theatre like right dab in the middle thats how good these sounded to me, the only thing that didnt sell me 100% was that my ad500x had the wider sound stage with of course less clarity in sound. Man these things are also built solid, everything from the headband to the wires. Wish these were maybe $120 and I wouldnt complain but Im not comfortable paying $150+ for headphones if they dont check all the areas Im looking for. If only these had a tad bit wider soundstage theyd be perfect and worth it.

Premesso che non sono un esperto, ma la qualità del suono è veramente molto buona. Non metto 5 stelle perché sicuramente cè di meglio, ma per il prezzo pagato sono molto buone.

Ottimo suono, pulito cristallino e profondo ad un prezzo da mid-level danno una qualità sonora elevata. Abbastanza comode offrono una profondità e apertura del suono notevole, ad un prezzo assolutamente competitivo. Consigliatissime.
