Great as usual, put in floor lamp works fantastic with the App, Alexa already put in a group. Saw a review where it said they didn’t dim, well they dim perfect with the App and with Alexa. For areas where you want white but want to enjoy the other shades of white. Nice addition to my Huecology.

Hue lights are great. They work every time without over taxing your Wifi network like the bridge-less competitors.

After 11 months one of the lights lost the ability the set ambiance color, it was 100% bright white or off. After 2 emails to Philips they agreed to replace it under warranty, however it’s been 5 weeks and several emails where they states that they’re working on the replacment, l still have not received.

If you are new to Philips Hue, you will need a bridge to control these lightbulbs. Either the Philips Hue bridge or another smart home device that has one built in like the new Amazon Echo Plus. If you have a hub device then you are good to go! Works as expected right out of the box. Bulbs were detected in app with no issues. These were an excellent addition to a room with no installed fixtures that are controlled by a light switch. Love being able to set different tones for the level of white.

I spent an hour trying to get it to connect with no luck the instructions with the package as well as on the website did not work.
