We have a house full of hue lights, about 50. We love them all. These are no exception.

I have several different types of hue bulbs with the hub, and it’s been a very reliable network. Very much worth the investment. A+++. Highly recommend!

Philips Hue lighting is expensive but well worth the money, I’ve finally finished putting hue lighting in my entire house, all the way down to lighting in my garage, I’ve had zero issues they work great! They also work well with Alexa, yo can setup routines for your light to turn on at certain times, I have a routine setup while I’m away on vacation to turn lights on periodically during the evening and at night to make it look like someone is home while I’m away, also have one to turn on with my alarm it starts out dim and gradually gets brighter over a 10 min time span, there’s so much you can do, these also work well with the ring doorbell, yo can setup if there’s a motion it will kick on a light, or if someone presses the doorbell the lights will flash, this is great for deaf people.

I bought one set 6 months ago and have been replacing almost every bulb in the house with them ever since. What none of these reviews seem to tell you is that you can control these bulbs without any bridge, you just have to have at least one Philips Hue Smart Dimmer Switch. The product description and instructions that come with these bulbs and/or the Dimmer Switch say that you have to have a bridge or Alexa, you do not. I have one remote per room. One remote will control multiple bulbs. There are Youtube videos with instructions on how to connect without a bridge, it is an extremely simple process - but even they do not say that while the bulb is turned on you can tap the on/power button again to change the color temp to one of the four in the product description. I found out by accident. I can only speak to specific bulb (White Ambiance). The four color temperatures are the third picture down on the manufacturers item page. You get everything from daylight to candlelight. I prefer the soft glow of the Relaxation temperature.
