> 3 dayIts not nick proof. You can and will nick yourself at skin creases and corners. Also, not a super close guard in the bunch. The normal 1 on my old trimmer is a lot closer than the 1 on this one. Its like twice as high as it should be. The difference between their shortest guard and no guard is quite a bit.

> 3 dayI saw some reviews and pictures mentioning that they received a used product and thought that could never happen to me. I got mine and there were tiny hairs all over, the blades were dirty, and the groomer had smudges and fingerprints all over it. Ordered a replacement so well see what happens after I get the second one and then I might update my review. Edit: Got my replacement and the groomer was still dirty and one of the main blades is scratched or chipped. Not sure if I got another used groomer but Ive waited long enough for it and will put up with it. I havent had this issue with any other Philips Norelco product and am disappointed by the quality control for this one. Edit 2: Did get a used replacement. There was shaving cream inside the replacement heads and tiny hairs. Put in a refund and buying this somewhere else so I dont keep getting used products. DONT BUY

> 3 dayI had my previous one in the same line for approximately 10 years before it started to cause problems. Purchased this as an upgrade. Impressed by the relatively quiet nature of this trimmer. It comes with much more options than the original one that I had purchased 10 years ago and still uses the same size as my previous one so the old pieces are interchangeable with this one as well. Great purchase. I have only had to charge it twice over the past few months of owning it as the battery last for an extended period of time on standby. Highly recommend!

17-11-2024This bear trimmer seems well-built. It is heavier than cheap trimmers, has a metal housing, and heavier than others. BUT you cannot use the basic trimmer attachment directly on your skin. I cut up my neck. I have never had a beard trimmer break skin. If you are looking for a powerful trimmer that can trim a thick beard or for use in a haircut, this might be great assuming you use the combs, but watch out and do not use it against your skin!

> 3 dayI previously had a razor with an adjustable blade height directly on the razor whose battery wouldnt charge. I chose this as a replacement due to the very good reviews it received online. I have to say that I was very disappointed with it from the start. The first big complaint is that the power button is right where your thumb would be while holding the razor. On many occasions I have found my thumb accidentally pressing the button and stopping the razor. It would have been better to have a switch if it were to be in the spot it is. Additionally, the different attachments are all plastic and have their blade heights very lightly debossed (opposite of embossed) and the only way to actually read the print is to angle it against some light. And since most of the attachments are the same color, they all basically look the same. It would have been much better to color the writing or punch the characters through the plastic. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this razor to anyone.

> 3 dayI bought this trimmer about two months ago, use it once a week, and have still only charged it the one time. Thats some great battery life! This trimmer replaced my old Norelco QT4014/42 which I purchased with the idea that even if the battery died, it could still run while plugged in (unlike my even older trimmer). However the QT4014 eventually started having trouble running even while plugged in. Ill have to wait and see if this Series 7000 trimmer can beat the ~7 year lifespan of the other two. I was a little hesitant to get one of these multi-attachment trimmers instead of one with a single adjustable guard. But Im coming around to the utility of the various dedicated options. They also seem a bit more solid than the adjustable guard models and are more versatile. One other nice feature is that its OK to rinse the trimmer with water in order to clean it.

> 3 dayI take pride in my ability to spend my money on things that last a while. I bought this shaver for $80 or something a couple of years back and let me tell you that this thing is durable and the battery seems to last forever! I dont shave every day like some guys might and I dont use this for a smooth shave. Ive normally had a goatee and this thing has been awesome at grooming it and the rest of my face. I still use a traditional razor for a smooth shave. The attachments I use the most are the one for the nose, one of the short ones for trimming my goatee, and the one for precision grooming. Ive used some of the longer attachments when trimming body hair and those have worked perfectly fine as well. I have to admit Ive dropped this thing a few times and Im glad to see its been durable enough to not break into a bunch of pieces. All in all this was a solid purchase even 2 years later.

Blues Reviews
> 3 dayI was extremely happy with the performance of these clippers. It shaved my head with no snags or knicks, and left my hair evenly cut not torn. So why not 5 stars- The reason for my less than perfect review is the absolute excessive amount of attachments that come with these clippers. Yes, it’s great to have so many options, but I feel there had to be a better way. Which this set comes a full bag of attachments. To add to the amount of attachments there is also 3 seperate sizes of blades. Again sounds great but when you have a bag of attachments and clipper blades it can be difficult to find that attachment you are looking to use at that time while trying to read the hard to see sizes. These clippers do have some great features, including the fact its easy to grip, keeps a very long charge and can be used with water. Being cordless also adds a huge plus to its functionality, since I no longer have to deal with a power cord across my face as I shave my head! I would recommend these clippers to others, but make sure they are aware of the amount of attachments.
