Had a few trimmers/shavers over the years and this worked like a charm. Shaved my head, trimmed the beard and shaved the neck rather quickly. I would have preferred a large shaver for getting that skin-tight feel but everything else was great. I was able to straighten out my small beard and mold it into something more manageable. All the attachments were helpful. What is great is that I have a much older Philips Norelco shaver that still does a pretty good job. So, if youre looking for something that produces that skin-tight feel, I would get a separate shaver for that. The one included works but its small and not meant to be used as such. The smaller one is meant to be used in smaller places like in your neck line or in between your chin and lips. Otherwise, this thing is awesome. Even though I got it for like $60, I have already saved about 25-30 dollars considering all of my local barbershops charge that for each head shave and beard trim. Never again.

I have saved a lot of money using this. I can cut my hair,trim my neck,nose,ears,eyebrows all at once with all the attachments!

Has a five year warranty, so why buy Amazons protection. YOu dont find many electrical and technical products with a five year warranty. This one appears worthy. I am impressed with its design, which appears to be made to last. The materials are high quality and the design seems durable. I probably will use only 10 percent of the attachments, so the product will probably suit anybodys varied needs. It even has a nose hair clipper that adapts to the trimmer. It appears to be the best on the market and will probably be worth the price. It is about twice as expensive as the regular cheap ones. It also will hold a charge for five hours of use, which is very good compared to the others I looked at, which mostly would charge for an hour or twos use. I think it will be a useful reliable purchase, from my first inspection of it. Amendment: Ive had this product for a few months. One small complaint, and I am not even certain it could be designed out, is that the hair that is trimmed collects under the detachable clipper plate. It doesnt just fall away into the sink; a lot of it goes inside the tool, right under the plate. You have to be vigilant and remove the hair after each use; otherwise, it will clog up quickly, after a couple moderate uses. Not really a problem, just a minor part of using the tool that needs to be attended to. Also, there is a tiny brush in the accessories that, apparently, is for brushing out the hair that collects underneath the removable plate. One other positive note is that the grooming device hardly ever needs charging (depending on how often and for how long you use it; I use it very lightly)

Worn a beard for 30+ years and always swore by Wahl but their trimmers kept going downhill. Its taken me a while to get used to the heft of this model and still not quite as ergonomic, but I LOVE the battery life on it! What I really dislike though is the numbers on the guides are nearly Impossible to read without good light and a magnifying glass. They really should color code these things so theyre easy to pick out. If theyd done that, Id have rated this at five stars and would be MUCH happier with it. In fact, Id have paid extra money for the color coded guides, thats just how important they are to the usability of this product! Hope you guys at Phillips are reading this and taking note!

Great to use in the shower and the battery life seems to last for weeks and is easy to clean after use

There are so many positives about these clippers that I am deeply hoping that the people at Philips sees this review and accounts for it in their next product update. I shave my head and beard different lengths depending on my mood so I immediately love the one-stop shop approach of a trimmer that has interchangeable blades for each use. The blades are sized great for either cutting hair on my head or doing fine detail on my beard. And the attachments are not only great but I look forward to the newer model that has an adjustable beard attachment that would help with fading. There are 2 issues. 1. My biggest issue is that the attachments pop off the clippers too easy. This is especially if using the edge of the clippers to get a closer shave which I do for my head. Would love if there was a way to lock the changeable attachment in place. 2. The On/Off button is in a place where it can get inadvertently turned off while shaving. Number 2 I can live with but really really hoping they fix Number 1.

I still havent found a battery operated trimmer as fast and strong as AC clippers but this is the closest I have come to it. The clippers are high in quality and the variety is fantastic with different size clipper, a foil shaver and a nose/ear trimmer. The clippers are surprisingly strong - mowing through my beard with no problem. The battery life can be measured in weeks so theres no problem there. The only area for improvement I could recommend would be a closer angled shave with the included clippers or adjustability. That may be to much to ask at this price. Recommended

The older model is much better cuts way better & for some reason i find it less noisy. Also this new model is heavier than the older model so weird. Battery last a long time but that the only good thing i can say about it. It loves to pull on hair & cut on those sensible areas that the skin get very thin.

Still haven’t had enough time to tell about the battery but the rest is simply fantastic. Very useful and good product
