This thing is STURDY. It locks your phone into place very securely. If youre an on the go content creator this thing is a must.

The materials are great and the mount is solid. However, the phone is virtually free to rotate as you cannot lock the phone in vertical or horizontal mode. HUGE oversight. I am using a setup that requires a thick cable connected to the phone, and any weight will rotate the mount. It is not possible to lock the orientation. Immensely frustrating and seemingly a massive miss.

I love well-designed hardware such as Ulanzi phone mount. It will last a lifetime and you wont have to worry about plastic parts stripping out from heavy use. The large red anodized knob on the back to secure the camera to the mount is large and ergonomically machined and the knob to rotate the mount is knurled for a sure grip with wet weather. There is a cold shoe built in making this a versatile, lightweight mount. Its well worth the extra bux.

I have a soft spot for well-machined and well-designed mechanisms, and I was blown away by this phone mount. Not a single plastic component to be found, inside or out. Solid aluminum body with high quality powder-coat. Springs that are strong enough to hold your phone but still effortless to move against. Ergonomic unlocking knob and deeply knurled rotation lock dial. Perfectly tapped threaded holes. Clever placement of the dual microphone dovetail mounts if you use that feature (I do not so I cannot speak to their effectiveness). The base is pocketed to reduce weight. The packaging was brilliant. Every detail was considered and executed perfectly. I sincerely hope that the engineers, designers, and machinists behind this are proud of what they have created.

I like the fact that this tripod adapter is made of metal and not plastic. It seems really sturdy. And the fact that it attached to a tripod with either a screw or the arca-type adapter is really a great idea.

What a pleasure to find a piece of gear so well built. Solid barely begins to describe it. Everything is so perfectly fitted and well-balanced. Several cold-shoe mounts only add to its thoughtful functionality. A minor quibble is the red knob that allows you to tighten it down, which is a little small for my hands, and I would have preferred a larger area to grip it, but thats a personal preference, and it still functions perfectly. My phone is NOT coming out of this things grip unless something truly catastrophic occurs. If youre in the market for a solid, safe and stable mount, look no further. You may wish to check around for a lower price, but Im not returning mine over a few dollars. This thing looks like it will last forever.

It does exactly what it needs to - a stable way to mount a smartphone on a tripod. I use it with my iPhone 13 Pro on a Manfrotto Befree. Well-constructed, smooth rotation, enables great timer pics, night shots, and videos!
