The materials are great and the mount is solid. However, the phone is virtually free to rotate as you cannot lock the phone in vertical or horizontal mode. HUGE oversight. I am using a setup that requires a thick cable connected to the phone, and any weight will rotate the mount. It is not possible to lock the orientation. Immensely frustrating and seemingly a massive miss.

Product arrived on time and in good shape. First time I used it I noticed the spring-action rebound did not work after the phone had been in the holder for 20 minutes. I could pry the jaws apart, but they did not snap back together. It still works to hold my phone, but I have to push the jaws back together manually.

Very sturdy and well made. I’ll use this for iPhone travel photos on a Manfrotto Element tripod. It’s exactly the combination I was looking for - and receiving it the same day from Amazon was terrific.

Ive had about 4-5 janky versions of phone mounts for a tripod, but the second you pull this outta the box, you know its the last one youll ever buy. Perfect design and great materials.

Wasnt expecting much from this product when I ordered it. But after a slight learning curve on understanding how this thing works, it really performed better than what I wouldve expected. Used it on vacation in the Southwest, and it really just did what it was designed to do. The build felt solid and the fit on the tripod was perfect. My iPhone had a tight fit when locked in place and I had no worries that it would fall off.

I use this with special suction cup mounts for my phones while driving and live-streaming. Very sturdy and easy to use.

This is a well designed and well built device that will give you confidence that it is holding on to your expensive phone. Anodized red lock looks cool too.

I use this product to secure my iPhone when I’m vlogging.. it’s not “plastic” nor flimsy like the Jobi one it replaced..and the height and directional adjustments on it are easier.
