Okay the good: it’s fairly strong, it’s fairly versatile and works with a phone case. Cons: Price and it required 2 hands to release the phone.

The form, fit, and finish on this product is outstanding! I pull the spring-loaded clamping bar out all the way and lock it fully open by turning the red knob. Then I put my iPhone13 in place and turning the red knob counterclockwise to release the clamping bar so that it clamps the phone under full spring tension. The spring tension alone, holds the phone in place very securely, but you can tighten the red locking knob again as an added precaution.The 90 degree detents are a nifty way to swivel and lock the phone between vertical and horizontal without having to re-clamp it. The unit easily accommodates my iPhone13 in an Otterbox Defender.
